It is currently being reported that Dalton Castle, a long time wrestler in ROH is now a free agent. Originally reported by Wrestling Inc, that Dalton Castle was offered a good deal to stay in ROH but he turned it down. It seems like he has done this to see what other options out there. Dalton Castle signed with ROH back in 2013 and has had a long term run with the championship.

Where could he go?

It does seem like Dalton Castle would be put into NXT if he went to WWE. Then if he went to AEW, he would be treated more like Brain Cage and Matt Sydal. This being the better option out of the two. With WWE not trying to pick up every wrestler now he may not have gotten the massive amount of money he could have gotten a couple of years ago. He could play off both companies where he could get a very big amount of money.

There are other companies that could offer a good amount of money for Dalton. This could be Impact or maybe in NWA. Impact could be a good place for Dalton. NWA is unlikely as they may be in some trouble with them not having a show in a while. There could be a lot of open doors for Dalton Castle.

Could he still sign back in ROH?

There is still the fact that he could have signed back at ROH. As he currently said to be looking at his option open. This could mean that if the options aren’t what he wants. He could most likely still sign with ROH. It does seem likely that he won’t get a good contract somewhere else but the offer will most likely still be there. Him ending up at either WWE or AEW seems the most likely thing to happen in the near future.
