We’re starting to get a very good idea of what the Ring Of Honor roster will look like moving forward. They are locking down some big names with contracts, like Mark Haskins & Bandido, while also looking to keep former champions like Dalton Castle around. We have another batch of names who will be sticking around in ROH going forward, most notably Tracy Williams.
Tracy Williams Is Part Of The Foundation Of Ring Of Honor
When it comes to Ring of Honor, they were built on strong technical wrestling, which is something Tracy Williams has to spare. During the recent Pure Rules tournament, he proved this as he took everyone to their limits, eventually reaching the finals. There, he was bested by Jonathan Gresham, who he joined up with after the match.
Williams has since beaten ROH Legend John Walters in a Pure Rules match, and teamed with Rhett Titus to win the first ever Pure Rules Tag Team match at Final Battle 2020. He’s just going to keep on getting better and better, until he’s either the ROH World, TV, or Pure Champion. It’s very clear why ROH wanted to make sure he stuck around.
Brian Johnson, Amy Rose, Bateman and Sumie Sakai Re-Sign With ROH
Now to do a lightning round with some lower name players in the company who will be sticking around. Brian Johnson came out of the ROH Dojo with a real attitude issue, but one that he can back up with his wrestling skills. He recently got beaten by Danhausen at Final Battle 2020 by DQ.
Amy Rose, aka The Diamond Diva, is the spokesperson for La Faccion Ingornable and the manager of Kenny King while being a potential name in a revived ROH Women’s division. Sumie Sakai is an ROH legend and won the first Women’s division match in the company back in 2002, and was Women of Honor champion in 2018.
Bateman is the right hand man of Vincent in The Righteous, who recently took the fight to Matt Taven & Mike Bennett of The Kingdom. He’s a 20 year veteran with a lot left in his tank, and could potentially coast on character skills alone when the tank gets lower.
