While some people left their issues in 2020, Candice LeRae & Shotzi Blackheart didn’t. Blackheart is still not over how LeRae beat her down, ran over her tank, and then won the WarGames match. After getting the win in the mixed tag team match last week with KUSHIDA in her corner, Blackheart looks to beat LeRae in singles action tonight.
Shotzi Blackheart Has An Answer For Everything
Action got to a fast start as Blackheart got shoved away by the face, only to take LeRae down. LeRae lured Blackheart to the ropes for the running senton, and dodged to try and capture Blackheart in the ropes. This backfired, as Blackheart got to the top rope for a crossbody and moved into a unique armbar attempt.
LeRae got the ropes and forced the break of the hold, and went to the top rope only to be pulled down and again be attacked on the mat by Blackheart. Once again, LeRae fought free, this time driving Blackheart into the corner but had her previously broken arm slammed off the steel of the corner.
Blackheart had an answer for everything in the arsenal of LeRae, until Indi Hartwell ran a distraction on the outside. This allowed LeRae to hit a running dropkick through the ropes and hit a springboard dive soon after. Through a picture in picture break, LeRae took control of this match and grinded Blackheart down.
Candice LeRae Has A Great Student
Coming back from the break, Blackheart would be fighting back with an enziguri before getting a two count. Another big kick to the head set up the rope hung senton again, getting another near fall. Blackheart took the fight to the apron, went for the Sliced Bread but settled for a DDT.
Hartwell once again got involved, but just fell with LeRae as Blackheart hit a running dive. Back in the ring, LeRae sidestepped a rush from Blackheart and nailed a short superkick for a near fall. LeRae wanted that Lionsault, but Blackheart countered only to end up in Gargano Escape. She fought free and downed LeRae with another DDT to look for the diving senton.
Hartwell ran another distraction, LeRae caught Blackheart on the top rope and came down hard with a swinging neckbreaker for the win.
