However, Bakole’s trainer fought back to those claims, and stated that an agreement would be reached if the terms for the fight are the best for his fighter. Fans would certainly be willing to see the two fighters go at it, as they are two of the very best underneath the leading names in the heavyweight division.
Hrgovic’s promoter has claimed that his fighter is looking for a step-up in competition, as he is ready for his next challenger. Bakole was among the fighters that were named checked when discussing the step-up, but insisted that the Croatian heavyweight also wouldn’t be opposed to stepping in the ring to take on Michael Hunter or Sergey Kuzmin.

Hrgovic has been a fighter that many boxing fans have been keeping a very close eye on since he turned professional. He had an excellent record as an amateur, and he has been able to follow that up with a string of excellent professional performances. He turned professional in 2017, as he beat Raphael Zumbano Love in his first contest. Since then, he has gone on to achieve a perfect 12-0 record, with his last fight coming in November, with a knockout win against Rydell Booker.
Bakole would illustrate a certain step-up in competition, as the heavyweight has a record of 16-1. His only defeat was suffered against Michael Hunter back in October 2018. Since that defeat, he has won four of his last five fights by TKO, which includes a win over Mariusz Wach. His most recent win came against Kuzmin, as he beat the Russian by unanimous decision to win the WBC international title.
