Impact Wrestling Results returned as Scott D’Amore, Rich Swann, and Tommy Dreamer were in the ring.
D’Amore said it’s more than an event because it’s Dreamer’s birthday and told Swann since it was his idea it’s up to him to start.
Swann signed the contract with a proud smile.
Dreamer told him that when this started he never gave him his answer, and he thanked them both and said there are a bunch of people in the back that deserves it more than him, but he won’t turn down an opportunity.
He said when he won his first title he had to defeat Taz, who was his best friend. And then Christian for his second title win.
He said there are no holes in Swann’s offense but there are in his defense and he knows he has a bad leg and he’s going to come for it.
The lights went out and Moose came out.
Moose said he rarely gets angry, but the fact the match is happening pisses him off since Swann promised him a world title match first.
He then told Swann he’s supposed to be a fighting champion and one of the best wrestlers in the world, but he’s taking the night off because he’s wrestling a 50 year old man.

Dreamer’s impassioned speech
D’Amore got between them and told Moose to be a man of his word and said he’ll suspend Moose forever if he interferes in the match.
Moose said he won’t interfere as he knows he can beat both of them.
Moose and Swann stood nose to nose and Dreamer told them to shut up and pulled up something on his phone and read a message from Moose from July.
Moose had said he was still sore and Dreamer was a tough old man in the message, and that before Moose started acting like Mr. T he was going to be fired.
He said he motivated him but he doesn’t get it. Dreamer said he doesn’t wrestle for money but to entertain people and help young men and women because the locker room is full of dreamers.
He said he’ll continue to use his platform for good, and the Impact Championship gives him a bigger platform to help people forget the crap going on in the world for three hours.
He said it’ll be an honor to face Swann and he signed the contract and they shook hands as Moose slowly left the ring.
This was a great moment for Dreamer and it should be a fun match.
