UFC News: VanZant vs Hart
The match-up between the two women will headline the card on Friday evening, as VanZant fights for the first time since leaving the UFC last year. It was certainly a huge story when the American decided to move to BKFC, as the events are renowned for the brutal encounters. However, those that follow the former UFC star on social media would have been aware of the transformation that she has made over the past couple of months, as she prepares for the huge switch.
VanZant departed UFC after defeat to Amanda Ribas in July last year, which took her record to 8-5 as a professional. It will not be an easy welcome to BKFC on Friday night, as she will be coming up against an opponent, who has a respectable boxing career behind her. Hart fought professionally on eleven occasions, and picked up four wins, four defeats and eleven draws. Her last professional boxing bout came last year, as she beat Kim Wabik.
UFC News: Remainder Of BKFC Card
It looks set to be one of the biggest BKFC events of the year, with a stacked card set to take place. There are two massive matchups to look forward to before the main event, as Johnny Bedford looks to reclaim his lightweight championship in the rescheduled defence against Dat Nguyen. Bedford won the title back in 2019, as he beat Reggie Barnett Jr.
Meanwhile, there will be a final appearance in BKFC for Chris Leben in the other match on the main card, as he comes up against Quentin Henry. Leben made his first appearance in bare knuckle fighting in November 2018, as he beat Paul Baroni in the first round. His dominance continued as he moved to BKFC, as he beat Justin Baesman in the first round of their contest in April 2019.
