Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we expect to have a fun show tonight as we deal with the aftermath of the Royal Rumble.
Plenty of new storylines are set to be into into play, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us.
WWE Raw Live Results are going to grab some snacks and we’ll see you all back here in time for the 8 p.m. EST start.
Segment 1
Drew McIntyre opened the show and was interrupted by Edge, who pointed out that McIntyre should kick his head off instead of showering him with compliments.
Sheamus came out to defend McIntyre, and Edge promised McIntyre will know when he makes his decision and left.
Sheamus then hit McIntyre with a Brogue Kick and headed to the back.
Looks like we’re finally getting that Sheamus and McIntyre feud we’ve been wanting.
Segment 2
Sheamus said backstage that he and McIntyre and no longer friends and he wants the WWE Championship.
We then got a brie recap of Bobby Lashley and Riddle in the Royal Rumble as they prepare for a second United States Championship match after the commercial break.
Segment 3
United States Championship – Bobby Lashley w/MVP (c) vs. Riddle
This was a fast match after Riddle started fast, but Lashley slapped on a Hurt Lock while Riddle was in the ropes, earning a disqualification and tap out by Riddle.
Lashley then locked it in two more times, and threw Riddle over the barricade after the third one. So I guess we’ll have another match next week?
Segment 4
Orton cut a promo calling Edge a liar after Orton told the world he’d never wrestle again, and he intends to end Edge in their match later tonight.
Segment 5
Xavier Woods w/Kofi Kingston vs. Mustafa Ali w/Retribution (T-Bar, Slapjack)
This was a quick but decent match that Woods won after countering a roll up pin attempt by Ali into a roll up of his own.
Segment 6
Miz TV featuring Bad Bunny and Damien Priest
After refusing to apologize for his actions at the Royal Rumble and then turning down the Miz’s offer to help them create albums, Damien Priest came out and clocked the Miz.
Guess we’re heading to a match after the commercial break.
Segment 7
Damien Priest w/Bad Bunny vs. The Miz w/John Morrison
This was a pretty good match as we love to see Damien Priest in action. Priest hit the Reckoning for the win in a good debut victory.
Segment 8
Raw Tag Team Championship – The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander) w/MVP (c) vs. Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik)
This started off fast and the Lucha House Party controlled most of it until they knocked the Hurt Business to the floor as we headed to commercial,
Segment 9
This was a fun match Lucha House Party nearly won, but Benjamin tagged himself in to hit Pay Dirt on Metalik, stealing Alexander’s win.
Segment 10
Number One Contenders Triple Threat Tag Team Match – Charlotte Flair and Asuka vs. Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose vs. Lana and Naomi
This started fast as they were each out to prove they’re as good as each other, but Rose and Brooke eventually gained the upper hand as they dropped Asuka and knocked Flair off the apron as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
A decent match ended when RIc Flair and Lacey Evans came out. Charlotte tagged herself out and left the ring, and Naomi hit a Rearview on Asuka for the win.
So Naomi and Lana will face Baszler and Jax for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. That should be a fun one.
Segment 12
Elias and Jaxson Ryker vs. Jeff Hardy and Carlito
A decent match where Jeff won it after hitting a swanton bomb to celebrate Carlito’s first Raw match in over ten years.
Segment 13
Edge cut a promo where he accepted Orton‘s challenge for tonight and promised this will be the end as he needs to put Orton in his past so he can reclaim the championship he never lost.
Segment 14
Alexa Bliss vs. Nikki Cross
This was a fun one that saw a couple of personality and costume changes before Bliss hit a new version of Sister Abigail.
Segment 15
Randy Orton vs. Edge
This started out fast as Edge tried to win it early, but Orton survived the onslaught and took over, throwing Edge into the ring steps as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
Orton dominated the match and was ready for the win when Alexa Bliss appeared on the turnbuckle behind him with blood running out of her mouth.
It was enough of a distraction for Edge to hit a spear for the win.
This was a cool ending, but feels underwhelming for their feud as the announcers kept going on about Edge being in the Royal Rumble so long, seemingly forgetting Orton was right there with him.
Sorry, but not a so herculean moment but still pretty cool.
Overall, the show was decent and felt really slow at spots but better than last week’s by far. What did you think of it?
Let us know in the comments below, and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Results. We had a blast and can’t wait until next week.
