This one is the rubber match of a growing feud between Dalton Castle & Josh Woods. Woods won their first encounter by countering Bang-a-Rang into the Gorilla Lock, and forcing a submission. Castle won the second match by cheating, showing his true colors once again. Now, they find out who is better on PPV. Castle has doubts about where he stands in ROH, and Woods has Silas Young doubting he belongs in singles action and wants to get back to tag team action. Careers could be changed by the result of this match.
Dalton Castle Is In A Hurry
Castle was in a hurry to get to the ring and get this one started, saying he has places to go. They’d lock up quick, and Woods was winning out. Woods gave Castle a leg to take, and blocked the takedown with ease. Castle would be dropped and put in a waist lock, before breaking free.
They’d trade Gutwrench Bomb attempts, before Woods looked for a German Suplex. Castle grabbed the ropes to save himself, but only briefly. Woods just picked Castle up like a child, set him up on the ropes and hit a German Suplex. Castle went outside to take a breather, before arguing with Silas Young at ringside.
This distracted Woods, who took a back elbow and running knee. Castle dodged the return blow of the springboard kick, and Woods rolled outside. Woods was thrown into the barricade, before being shoved back into the ring. Back in the ring, Castle hit a Russian Leg Sweep, getting a two count.
Josh Woods Turns Up The Aggression
Castle got the arm on the mat, before Woods slipped out. Woods took a boot to the face, and Castle would look for a suplex. Castle got punched in the face by Woods, who was sent to the outside by a desperate Castle who knew what a pissed off Woods can do.
Woods would drag Castle outside and throw him into barricades, much to the glee of Silas Young. Castle broke the count before coming back outside, and took another punch to the face. Woods countered the spinning hurricanrana off the apron, and Castle got powerbombed on the apron.
Young wanted to use a chair outside, and Woods argued with him. Back in the ring, Castle snatched Woods with an Exploder & German Suplex. A butterfly suplex from Woods fired back, and they’d work back to their feet. The referee was taken out in the brawl, and Young nailed Woods in the head with the chair, an intentional blow. Castle rolled him up for the win!
