Kayla Braxton Deactivates Her Twitter Shortly After Revealing She Is Bisexual

In an emotional post written to her fans, she came out in what must have been a difficult period. She posted: “My whole life, I’ve had to choose. Are you black? Are you white? Which bubble do you fill in on the SATs? I always filled in “other” because nothing applied to me. Tonight, I choose to be over having to choose. Hello, world. I’m Kayla. Oh. And yeah – I’m Bi.”

Her decision to leave Twitter will, no doubt, disappoint her fans given the loss of interaction. Added to that, Kayla’s social media presence will also take a hit despite being a celebrity in her own right. The decision to deactivate the account, however, does appear impulsive at first glance. But given Kayla’s previous experience on social media, it was a wise move.

She had previously tested positive for covid, and she warned her fans as to what could happen. She said: “Keeping it quiet, but since everyone else is sharing, I feel like it is my responsibility to share this PSA: YOU CAN GET COVID-19 MORE THAN ONCE! I had it back in early March and then thought I was invincible after I recovered. Not true. Don’t be dumb like me.

But the reaction to that was far from pleasing. After all, in a time when the world is going through a lot of struggles, Kayla had enough of some comments as she deactivated her account. Before she could, she had some words to say to her detractors.

She posted at the time: “While I was at work tonight, I got a call that someone very close to me died of covid. And as I logged on to this platform tonight, I noticed multiple disgusting tweets tagging me to make jokes about me when I had the virus early this year. FU*K you.”

While she has deactivated her account, she has still, nevertheless, received support since her revelation. Other wrestling stars, including Lance Storm, showed support by tweeting: “You be you and be happy,” whereas Betty Phoenix responded with a hugging emoji.
