Tonight’s going to be a fun one as new Impact World Champion Kenny Omega will celebrate his dominate win with an in ring celebration and Taylor Wilde is returning to action after a 10 year hiatus from Impact Wrestling.
With plenty going on with Rebellion’s aftermath, let’s get to the action!
BTI (Before The Impact) – Deaner w/VBD (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Rhino) vs. James Storm w/Chris Sabin
This started fast with Storm locking in a headlock, and then hitting a shoulder block off the ropes, block a hip toss, then hit his own and Deaner headed to the floor to regroup.
Back in the ring, Storm had an armbar locked in.

Deaner tried to power out of hit, but Storm hit an arm breaker. Deaner hit a knee and a couple of rights before sending Storm off the ropes.
Storm hit a Lou Thez Press and pounded Deaner down, talked some trash with VBD, and then dropped Deaner with a right for a near pinfall.
Storm then locked in an armbar and hit a sliding clothesline for another pin attempt.
Storm sent Deaner into the corner and climbed yo to hammer away, then tried to take a swig of beer. Deaner carried him into the ring, but Storm hit him with a right and took his swig before handing it to Sabin at ringside.
Deaner led Storm on a chase through the ring and caught Storm in the ring apron and VBD beat Storm down while the ref was distracted.
Deaner slammed Storm’s head into the apron, then bit Storm’s forehead through the ropes.
Storm pulls it out
Storm slid into the ring and Deaner locked in a neck lock and hit a series of knees before nailing a neckbreaker for a near pinfall.
Deaner then hit a couple of knee drops to Storm’s neck for another pin attempt. Deaner then went back to the neck twist.
Storm got to his feet and hit a couple of elbows, but Deaner caught him with a clothesline in the corner and then stomped away on Storm.
Deaner shouted at Storm about losing to them and then nailed him with a series of rights before going for a DDT, but Storm hit a right.
Storm followed it with a couple more rights, then hit a forearm off the ropes, an inverted atomic drop, and clothesline.
Deaner flipped him onto the apron but Storm hit a step up kick and a neckbreaker off the ropes for a near pinfall.
Storm went for an Eye of the Storm, but Deaner slipped down and Storm drove him into the corner.
Deaner flipped him over the ropes and dropped him to the floor. Deaner hit a slam, then sidestepped and sent Storm into the ring post and locked his head under the middle turnbuckle.
Deaner hit a dropkick to Storm’s back and then a clothesline before heading to the top rope to hit a diving headbutt for a near pinfall.
Deaner went to Young for advice and Young told him to hit a DDT.
Storm hit a jawbreaker and a big boot and a swinging neckbreaker for a near pin.
Storm sling him into the ropes and hit an Alabama Slam. Deaner went for a DDT, and Storm blocked it and hit a superkick for the win.
Storm rolled out of the ring and talked trash with Joe Doering who was in the ring.
Impact Wrestling Results loved this match and it’s a great match and awesome way to get us ready for the show.
