Hello and welcome to OVW TV 1128 Recap!

This looks like it’s going to be a fun one as Legacy of Brutality looks for some payback.

Let’s get to the action!

The Good Word with Reverend Ronnie Roberts

Roberts started off by welcoming us, then saying how it’s getting hot in OVW and showed off his new Reverend Ronnie Roberts fans available for purchase.

He turned his attention to Omar Amir going after Ca$h Flo in his place of business last week and then criticized Al Snow for not punishing Amir previously.

Al Snow came out and said Roberts knew he was going to address this tonight and accuse Roberts of doing what he does best — stirring the good pot.

Snow called Amir to the ring.

Snow then told him he took an action beyond what should be done and pointed out Amir represents OVW and its fans.

Amir said he agrees with everything he said and what he did last week was reprehensible. He lost his temper after being pushed every week.

Amir apologized for what he did, and Snow said he has to do something. So, Snow suspended him for 30 days.

LOB then came out and Josh Ashcraft started reminding Snow of their agreement and Snow told him to shut up and said he gave his word and that’s what will happen.

To prevent Ca$h from suing Amir, Snow’s giving him a match against Ca$h Flo on April 24 when Amir returns.

Ca$h promised him he’ll vacate the OVW Heavyweight Championship when he returns from his 30 day vacation.

Snow turned his attention to Roberts and asked if he’s a real reverend and tricked him into saying he has a wrestling license.

Snow told him if he doesn’t mind his business he’ll book him in any match against any opponent he wants.

Backstage Rex and Adam Swayze worked on their lines when Tony Bizo came up to them and told them they don’t have the right look.

“The Indian Lion” Mahabali Shera defeated Abraham Haddox by pinfall

This should be a fun match with both big men and Haddox got a quick upper hand with some rights and kicks, but it didn’t last.

Shera’s clothesline had no effect early on, but then he hit the Indian Lion Claw (pop up powerbomb) for the win.

Super Heavyweight Open Challenge Dimes defeated Gustavo by pinfall

After saying he wanted to do the challenge a little different, he brought out a group of wrestlers.

Tony Bizo, Luscious Lawrence, Reverend Ronnie Roberts, and others came out.

Dimes went through the group one by one, disqualifying everyone due to various reason until he settled on Gustavo.

This would be a great match under normal circumstances, and Gustavo gave Dimes fits and nearly had a few pin attempts before Dimes hit a blind cutter after having his protein powder kicked into his eyes.

Kal Herro’s Fanny Pack Match – “Shotgun” Tony Gunn defeated “Fanny Pack Kidd” Kal Herro by pinfall

The winner gets Herro’s fanny pack, and Gunn attacked Herro from behind as he headed to the ring and knocked him out.

Gunn rolled him into the ring and made the ref start the match.

Herro kicked out of four progressively more intense pin attempts and nearly won with a small package.

Gunn finally hit the Kill Shot to win and made the ref put the fanny pack on him. This was just strange, but still entertaining.

Backstage, Bizo tried to convince Drew Hernandez to watch his back and Hernandez told him he’d think about it.

Number 1 Contender Ladder Match Qualification – Tony Bizo vs. Dustin Jackson ended in no contest

This should be a good match, and it started off with a back and forth before Bizo took a breather.

Rex and Swayze came out to watch the match. It’s only a matter of time before they get involved.

After the competitors hit head to head, Drew Hernandez came out and sent Rex into the ring post while Swayze distracted the ref.

Jackson and Hernandez got into a shoving match and Rex nailed Jackson and threw him into the ring.

The ref called the match a no contest due to Kentucky laws as Bizo was bleeding and Bizo then stomped Jackson before he left the ring.

Looks like we have to wait until next time to find out what this means.

This was a decent show though it felt a little slow at times and Shera’s match was another quick one that felt like it should’ve lasted a little longer.
