Hello and welcome to OVW TV 1129 Recap!

We’re all set for what looks to be a fun episode of OVW TV, so let’s get to the action.

“The Iron Bear” Tom Coffey defeated “The Fanny Pack Kid” Kal Herro by pinfall

This should be an interesting match given the size difference.

Hero was focused on taking Coffey down by his left leg to repeated failed attempts.

Coffey dominated early on due to his size and power, but Herro refused to quit and eventually gained the upper hand.

Coffey caught Herro’s axhandle attempt off the top rope in a bear hug and won after slamming Herro to the mat.

Captain Caribbean’s introduction

Captain Caribbean cut his first promo, promising to sweep away the rest of the competition. We’ve always enjoyed masked wrestlers, and this should be a fun one.

Ryan Howe’s interrupted

Ryan Howe was interviewed about his upcoming ladder match for the OVW National Heavyweight Championship when Luscious Lawrence and AJZ interrupted him to stake their claims to win the match.

This quickly became heated between the three men. That’s going to be a fun match.

Ca$h Flo w/Josh Ashcraft defeated “The Savage” Kyle Hawk by Pinfall

It didn’t take long for Flo to get the upper hand after he nailed a big boot and threw Hawk around the ring.

Hawk fought back and made it interesting until Flo hit a splash off the top rope for the win.

The Good Word with Reverend Ronnie Roberts

He told us not to be afraid to bring our Easter candy for the collection plate, but we should keep our Peeps.

He then introduced Tony Bizo.

Bizo came out to his standard lukewarm reception, and Roberts pointed out he’s still welcomed on the Good Word and mentioned his match last week.

Bizo claimed he won last week and he should be celebrating this week. Dustin Jackson then came out to challenge his claim.

Jackson pointed out the match was thrown out and that Bizo thinks he’s the whole show but Jackson’s not going to let him run his mouth about him.

The insults flew from Bizo as he said there’s no rematch tonight, then he attacked Jackson.

The two rolled around the ring as Roberts gave them grief for messing up his set and officials eventually came out to break it up and Bizo rolled to the floor while Jackson remained in the ring.

Jackson ran up the ramp and their fight continued backstage.

“The Indian Lion” Mahabali Shera defeated “Suplex Shogun” Jackson Stone by pinfall

This should be a fun match as Stone’s making his OVW debut.

Stone started it off fast by taking it to Shera, and Shera quickly struck back.

Stone took control a couple of times and even hit a T-Bone suplex but Shera hit his Indian Lion Spinebuster for the win.

“HollyHood” Haley J w/Luscious Lawrence defeated Katalina Perez by submission

We have another OVW debut, and we can’t wait to see what Perez does against the OVW Women’s Champion.

Perez started off fast and gave Haley J more than she expected. Haley J gained the upper hand and tried to humiliate Perez.

Perez came back and had it won until Lawrence distracted Perez and the referee to give Haley a chance to lock in a leg scissors hold for the submission.

Number One Contender Ladder Match Rematch – Dustin Jackson defeated “The Complete Package” Tony Bizo by pinfall

Jesse Godderz came out instead of Bizo when Bizo was introduced for his match and Godderz headed to the ring and joined the commentary team.

The match started when Bizo charged in before the match started and Jackson took over and sent him to the floor.

Bizo continued hammering away on Jackson in the ring when Box Office Blonds came out and Rex his Bizo with a sidewalk slam while Adam Swayze distracted the ref.

Jackson hit a backbreaker and Drew Hernandez pulled Bizo to the floor to break the pin count.

Jackson confronted Hernandez and Bizo shoved Jackson into the ring post.

Jackson never gave up and hut a sunset flip for the win. Looks like we’ve got our final competitor for the final four way ladder match.

This was a fun show and set the stage to find Jesse Godderz’s next opponent for the OVW National Heavyweight Championship.
