WWE Smackdown Results returned as Paul Heyman said he’s sick of hearing about Daniel Bryan and mocked his Yes! chants when talking about his accomplishments and that everyone thinks he’ll beat Reigns and solidify his legacy.
He then said he won’t do it, ensuring Daniel Bryan will not beat Roman Reigns and won’t be seen on Smackdown again.

Bryan ran in and hit a dropkick as soon as the bell rang and then hit a series of kicks on Reigns in the corner before Reigns shoved him away.
Bryan charged back into an uppercut.
Reigns locked in a side headlock, and Bryan threw him into the ropes.
Reigns hit a shoulder block and then went for a bear hug, but Bryan hammered away on him until he dropped, then hammered away some more and went for a Yes! Lock but Reigns slipped to the floor.
Bryan hit a dropkick through the ropes, and then a running knee off the apron as we headed to commercial.
Bryan fights on
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Bryan hit a series of knees on Reign’s back and left arm, the hit a kick to Reigns’ front.
Bryan hit two running dropkicks in a corner, and Reigns caught his third attempt with a running clothesline for a pin attempt.
Reigns hit a kick and a headbutt, then nailed a snap suplex for a pin attempt.
Reigns locked in a rear chin lock, but Bryan for to his feet and hit a series of rights before Reigns hit a knee lift.
Reigns nailed him with a right and sent him into a corner, but Bryan flipped over Reigns. Reigns hit with a reverse elbow for a pin attempt.
Reigns hit a couple of rights, and Bryan hit a trio of uppercuts, then tripped Reigns into the middle turnbuckle.
Bryan hit a series of kicks in the corner and put reigns on the top rope. He then went for a hurricanranna, but Reigns blocked it and hit a powerbomb off the second rope for a near pinfall as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial, they’re still on the floor and hit Bryan with a couple of clothesline against the ring apron, then he threw Bryan into the barricade and into the ring for a pin attempt.
Reigns started getting frustrated, but settled in to hit a series of knees, then he put Bryan on the top rope but Bryan slipped under him and knocked Reigns off the ropes.
Bryan then hit a super back suplex on Reigns for a near pinfall.
Bryan hit an uppercut and Yes! Kicks to Reigns’ legs, but Reigns ducked under his last one to hit a Samoan Drop for a near pinfall.
Bryan countered a Superman Punch with a kick to the arm, and then kicked Reigns’ right arm.
Bryan followed it with a couple of arm breakers, but Reigns hit with a right. Bryan pulled the ropes down to send Reigns to the floor.
Bryan attempted a suicide dive, but Reigns caught him and hit a belly to belly suplex. Bryan sidestepped Reigns’ spear attempt and Reigns went through the barricade as we headed to commercial.

Reigns goes in for the kill
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Bryan hit a diving headbutt off the top rope for a pin attempt.
Bryan ran into a Superman Punch but kicked out once again.
Bryan countered a spear into a small package for a near pinfall, and then hit a running knee but Reigns got his foot on the rope.
Bryan stomped Reigns down and locked in a Yes! Lock, but Reigns rolled him back to break it.
Reigns hit a spear for a near pinfall.
Reigns pulled Bryan up and attempted to lock in a guillotine but Bryan slipped out and locked in an armbar and into a Yes! Lock.
Reigns almost reached the ropes but Bryan rolled him over to keep the Yes! Lock synched in.
Reigns’ powered out and pounded Bryan down and then hit a powerbomb.
Reigns went back to hammering on Bryan, and then hit another powerbomb.
Reigns locked in a guillotine with his left arm and the ref ignored that Reigns pinned himself a couple of times before Bryan passed out.
This was a great match, but it wasn’t surprising. The whole episode was the most predictable we’ve seen in a long time and the Universal title match was set up to be the match of the night.
Reigns put a chair into the ring but Cesaro came out and nailed Reigns with an uppercut and hammered him down on the floor before sending him into the ring.
Jey Uso attacked Cesaro from behind and hit him with a superkick.
Jey tied Cesaro up in the ropes to watch as Reigns hit Bryan with a chair to close out the show.
