‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re going to get a couple of possible twists to keep some storylines alive while also creating some touching moments.
‘The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, April 12: Rey doesn’t trust Chelsea
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is going to become suspicious when Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) changes her story.
It’s not a surprise as we figured she was going along with what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wanted, but to have a change of heart so soon is curious.
We expect her to be honest with Rey since she can trust him and admit what Victor threatened to do to her son and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson)’s family to force her confession.
She may even deny her confession or threaten not to sign it despite the witnesses.
It should be an interesting scene, but if she convinces Rey we have little doubt he’ll investigate. He’s shown Victor doesn’t intimidate him, so it should be an interesting storyline if they go that route.
‘The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, April 12: Nikki surprises Sharon again
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) isn’t one to give compliments to those she doesn’t like or get along with, but she told Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) a couple of weeks back that she respects her.
Today, it looks like Nikki may up the ante by telling Sharon she saved Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) for never losing faith in Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Without Sharon’s faith in him, Adam never would’ve tried to turn things around for himself or return to help.
This may like a bit much, and CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers wouldn’t be surprised if Nikki’s surprise involves something completely different, but this fits with Adam’s redemption so we’re going with it.
‘The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, April 12: Phyllis’ wisdom
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is super protective of her daughter, and Summer Newman (Hunter King) is just like her.
Especially when it comes to going after any perceived enemies. Summer’s insecurities have been running rampant since Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) arrived and she’s been trying to boot her out since.
While Phyllis is rarely one to offer a peace accord, we think she’s going to tell Summer to take her non-wins and hold steady in the event of Sally going after her.
Summer probably won’t listen, but why would she when she started their war due to her insecurities?
