Brian Myers has made a habit of complaining when he doesn’t get his way, and after he decided insulting Rosemary was better than accepting her advice, she put a curse on him.
Tonight, he’s going to face Black Taurus in what should be a fun match, and we think he won’t be as lucky as he was against Crazzy Steve.
Black Taurus for the win.
Impact World Tag Team Championship Number 1 Contenders Match – Ace Austin and Madman Fulton vs. TJP and Petey Williams vs. XXXL (Acey Romero and Larry D) vs. Rohit Raju and Shera
This has the makings of an awesome match, and we expect a couple of wrinkles as Austin and Fulton will pull out the win.
It’ll be close with TJP, Petey Williams, and XXXL having a good showing. We also expect Rohit and Shera to continue having communication problems.
Taylor Wilde and Tenille Dashwood w/Kaleb with a K vs. Susan and Kimber Lee
This is a fun yet odd match as Tenille Dashwood has attached herself to Taylor Wilde’s hip in the quest to win tag team gold.
Wilde wants the Knockouts Championship, so enroute to both they’ll go through Kimber Lee and Susan.
This will be a fun match with plenty of fun action, plus seeing Tenille and Taylor coexist will be worth it.
Willie Mack vs. W. Morrisey
Morrisey made an unforgettable debut at Rebellion, and he’s now set about to make others feel the pain he suffered through starting with Willie Mack.
This should be a good one, but we think Morrisey will take it and establish himself as a monster along the same lines as Moose.
We do expect Mack to have a good showing as he’s as tough as they come, but it won’t be enough.
Knockouts Tag Team Championship – Jordynne Grace and Racheal Ellering (c) vs. Fire ‘N Flava (Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz)
Impact seems to doing to Grace what they did to Nevaeh, except she and Ellering won tag gold.
And we expect them to retain in their remath with Fire ‘N Flava with Grace scoring the pin on Tasha Steelz to put her doubts to rest.
X-Division Championship – Josh Alexander (c) vs. El Phantasmo
For the third time Impact Wrestling is putting a major title on the line against someone from another company. This time El Phantasmo will challenge for the X-Division Championship.
This is in the early running for match of the night, and this will be a grueling and exciting encounter.
We admit El Phantasmo will probably win, but we don’t see a reason for taking the title off Alexander so soon after he won it, so we’re going with the home talent.
Josh Alexander to retain.
Knockouts Championship – Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Havok
This will be Purrazzo’s toughest match yet as Havok is unlike anything she’s faced before.
We’d love for Havok to win and see the Kaiju Queen reign supreme, but with that being said, we have a feeling Purrazzo will retain by disqualification.
Havok will then slaughter her is she doesn’t get out of the ring in time, but Purrazzo will keep the title.
Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers vs. Eddie Edwards and FinJuice
After nearly being stripped of his Impact World title in his first week, Kenny Omega arrived with minutes to spare and he and the Good Brothers attacked Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan.
FinJuice came out to help but they were quickly beaten down as well.
Because they hit Edwards first, Callihan won by DQ to move on to the 6 Way Number 1 Contender match, so Edwards and FinJuice are facing Omega and the Good Brothers.
This will be a great match and we expect FinJuice and Edwards to pull it out.
FinJuice has shown they’re on the same level as the Good Brothers as a team and Edwards heart may be enough to counter Omega’s talent.
Or at least make it interesting. This may be a stretch, but we love a longshot.
A fun note about this match is it features some of the best wrestlers from three major promotions — Impact Wrestling, AEW, and NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling).
6 Way Number 1 Contenders Match – Chris Bey vs. Matt Cardona vs. Sami Callihan vs. Chris Sabin vs. Trey Miguel vs. Moose
This will arguably be the match of the night, and we fully expect it to come down to Sami Callihan and Moose as the top favorites to win.
With that being said, we’d be happy with either of them winning but we’d love to see Moose so we get to see what he and Omega can do together.
With Moose as our chosen winner, we’re going to pick a dark horse in Matt Cardona.
It’s just a feeling we have that Cardona’s going to do something special.
