Carole Middleton, who happens to be Kate Middleton’s mother, has opened up on how she loves spending time with her grandkids: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Kate Middleton’s Mother Loves Spending Time With Her Grandkids
Being a member of the Royal family comes with the privileges of getting almost anything you want. And yet, it is the simpler things in life that Carole loves to focus on. During an interview with Saga magazine, she revealed how she is teaching her grandkids to get in touch with nature. She said: “I like to have it [equipment] all laid out at ‘activity stations.
“[They have their] own little trowel and pot so they can get started immediately. It’s important for children to grow up appreciating nature, and part of that is allowing them to get a bit muddy.” The pandemic has made it extremely difficult for parents to adjust their lifestyle to accommodate their parental duties.
With an increasing number of parents having to homeschool, regardless of their preferences, it has allowed parents to spend more time with their kids. And Carole sees it as an excellent opportunity to get kids to become healthier. She added: “There’s no better way to encourage healthy eating than to allow your grandchildren to see how food is grown and let them pick their own.”
Carole is cherishing every moment of it. She often has a hectic schedule, given that she is a successful entrepreneur. Her company, Party Pieces, is reportedly worth in the region of $40 million. Not only that, the covid restrictions have made it much more difficult to see her grandkids. In a previous interview with Good Housekeeping, she said: “I hope to see more of my family than I could last year.”
Unlike many grandmothers, Carole is not shy about getting down to the kids levels. She admitted to adopting a hands-on role, and by all accounts, the children are loving every minute of it. She noted: “I want to run down the hills, climb the trees and go through the tunnel at the playground. As long as I am able to, that’s what I’ll be doing.
“I cook with them. I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides.” Let us know what you think in the comment section down below. Please also remember to stay up to date with the latest news on TheOvertimer. Don’t forget to visit Gamestingr for great videos, news, and gameplay!
