‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick the week off with some spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re in a holding pattern for a slow burn to build a couple of storylines, but we should get a couple of fun scenes as a couple of relationships try to implode because of reasons.
This will leave us with a couple of answers as to what’s going on, and it’ll be fun seeing how things play out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, June 7: Kyle’s unsure of Tara
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is going to have some difficult days ahead of him as Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) works to make an agreement with her ex husband a reality.
He’s going to feel played by he to get the best deal possible, and Kyle’s going to feel like the village idiot for falling for it. We’d think he’d be used to this feeling by now.
All jokes aside, he’s going to question what Tara’s up to and the idea that the paternity test could’ve been falsified won’t be far from his thoughts.
After all, Tara had to come to him for help, she had to tell him her son was his, and she knew he wouldn’t refuse his son.
Now, Kyle’s going to wonder how he fell into this and he’ll be told it’s because he’s a good and honorable man and that’s partly true.
But maybe this could be the wakeup call he needs to shake off the village idiot moniker?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, June 7: Lily plays referee
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers don’t know what will set Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) off and at each other’s throats, but we have a feeling it’ll have to do with Kyle and his choices.
Billy’s no stranger to making the wrong ones, but we doubt he’ll have much sympathy for Kyle given their contentious relationship.
More so, as a father, he’s going to understand Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s position and will be against the man that’s raised the boy to be removed from his life.
It’s obvious Jack will disagree and side with his son and cite how many times he’s helped Billy, and maybe even lay into Billy for not being as understanding as he should be.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have the lucky job of playing referee and trying to keep things calm and civil between the two brothers.
This has the potential to be the best segment of the episode, and we’re all for Lily getting combat pay for having to deal with these two.
