It’s been a while since WWE Smackdown Preview was excited for an upcoming show, and it looks like the WWE is going all out for us tonight in the Go Home episode for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
As of this writing, there’s only 4 matches for the pay-per-view so we’re expecting some more to be made tonight as rematches will happen and singles titles will be contested on Sunday.
But that’s then, so let’s dive into what we’re going to see tonight.
It’s eating me up inside. I can’t wait any longer. I want the Hell In A Cell match tomorrow night. @WWERomanReigns @HeymanHustle

Universal Championship – Hell in a Cell – Roman Reigns (c) vs. Rey Mysterio
This was supposed to be on the PPV, but Rey challenged Reigns on Twitter for it to be on Smackdown and Reigns accepted.
So, we’re getting the first Hell in a Cell match ever on Smackdown.
This is little more than a ratings grab and we expect nothing to be settled in tonight’s match as Dominik Mysterio will probably hide under the ring and help Rey.
Reigns will overcome both of them and may even pull off a handicap win, but we expect the Usos to play a role in this as well since the Go Home episodes tend to be chaotic at best.
This should be a fun one and lead to the Usos challenging the Mysterios for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships at Hell in a Cell.
Sunday. Friday. Any day.
Makes no difference to me.It'll be my pleasure to disgrace what's left of your family name tomorrow night inside Hell in a Cell!
My Special Counsel @HeymanHustle will handle the paperwork.
I’ll PERSONALLY handle the warfare! @WWE #Smackdown https://t.co/DSzd33gluA

Kevin Owens and Big E vs. Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez
This match was Apollo Crews’ idea, so we expect it’s meant to be Azeez’s opportunity to show what he can do and put a hurt on Big E and Owens aside from his typical cheap shot.
We think this will be a good match and it’ll set up a possible Triple Threat match at HIAC or even a Fatal Four Way as we seen no reason for Sami Zayn to get involved now that he’s been wronged by everyone involved.
We’re going with Big E and Owens winning to really taunt Crews and Crews will want to prove himself against them for the Intercontinental Championship at the PPV.
Angelo Dawkins seeks retribution from Otis
Dawkins didn’t take kindly to Otis’ attack last week that left Montez Ford injured (storyline), so he’s going to look for some payback when he faces Otis in the ring tonight.
This should be a good match if they’re allowed to have it without Gable getting involved, though we suspect he’ll play a hand in it and they’ll try to take out Dawkins like they did Ford.
Battle for the Crown – Shinsuke w/Rick Boogs vs. King Corbin
After a few weeks of having his crown stolen, King Corbin took action and demanded Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville do something, so they came up with a match to determine who keeps the crown.
This has been a fun back and forth, through the last couple of matches probably should’ve been longer, and we hope Nakamura and Corbin will be allowed proper time to put their skills on full display.
If they get the chance, this could be the match of the night. We still think Corbin and Gable’s KOTR match was the match of the year in 2020, and we could have another classic here.
In the end, we think Corbin will win and keep his crown simply because he’s through playing games and won’t hesitate to leave it all in the ring for this one.
Who do you think the winners will be tonight and how will it help shape HIAC pay-per-view? Let us know in the comments below.
