Ever since Franky Monet made her NXT debut, we always knew she would be set for big things. However no one expected her to takeover Robert Stone Brand, but she was able to take the spot of Aliyah in the faction. Now, she will team with Jessi Kamea to take on Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter, as they start their climb to the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. This one comes around after Catanzaro & Carter called the teamwork of Monet & Kamea into question.
Franky Monet Takes Her Eye Off The Match
Kamea would start the match with Carter, with Carter using her agility to stay away from the stronger Kamea. Carter would accept the Test of Strength challenge, before dodging the cheapshot. Catanzaro would tag in and trip Kamea up before taking her back into the corner for Carter to tag back in and get a roll up.
Kamea would nail a big boot before tagging Monet in, before Carter was nailed with a vicious DDT out of the corner. A double knee strike in the Robert Stone Brand corner would be met with a tag to Kamea. This new team was meshing well, and Monet tagged in to nail some heavy kicks.
Carter would keep Kamea off the apron before looking for a tag, before Monet would take her down. Stone would distract Monet by accident by throwing his purse at her, which resulted in her missing a tag from Carter. Carter grabbed a neckbreaker, and Catanzaro came down with a 450 Splash for the win. Monet was not happy with Stone, and that will develop as we go.
Roderick Strong Is Ready For Bobby Fish
Last night, Wade Barrett sat down with Malcom Bivens & Roderick Strong of Diamond Mine. He’d ask about the breakup of Undisputed Era, and he’d explain that he’s the best in the world at what he does, but needed the guidance of Bivens to break through the drama of Undisputed Era’s breakup.
Bivens did what even William Regal couldn’t do, and brought Strong back after he quit NXT. Barrett would ask if they look at Bobby Fish vs. Roderick Strong as a big money match, and they agree. That match comes next week, and will end these issues once and for all.
