Last week, Eddie Kingston & Penta El Zero Meido did what few others have been able to accomplish in a year. They defeated The Young Bucks in a traditional tag team match, with some help from Frankie Kazarian who ran interference against The Elite. Now this week, The Young Bucks have to prove it was a fluke in a street fight, or they will no longer be the World Tag Team Champions.
Instant Chaos In This Street Fight
Kingston started by throwing a trash can at Nick, before taking this one to the outside. Matt would get Penta outside and threw him into Kingston, who was held by elite stooge Nakazawa, before Kingston ducked a double superkick and was taken out. Brandon Cutler would distract as Kingston was taken down with some chair shots from The Bucks.
Penta & Kingston would regain control using the chairs, and Nick would take a chair assisted lowblow. Some tables were to be set up, but Kingston instead pulled his table apart. He’d essentially up a spike and look to superplex, before being powerbombed onto the table.
Elsewhere, Penta hit a Mexican Destroyer off the apron to put Matt through the table at ringside. Penta grabbed a garbage can, and had it kicked into his face by Nick. Nick would maintain control of Kingston in the ring, before getting some help from Cutler to set up a table outside.
Back in the ring, Kingston would catch a flying Nick into an exploder suplex, before trying to charge Nick through the table. Instead, Nick dodged and Kingston smashed through shoulder first. Kingston was handed a trash can, and a Swanton Bomb from Nick would crush the can into the chest of Kingston.
The Young Bucks Came For A Brawl
Kingston kicked out at two before Penta made his way into the ring with some sling blades. A lungblower senton combination would hurt both Young Bucks, before they’d counter a DDT into a Northern Lights Suplex. More Bang For Your Buck wouldn’t work, and Kingston nailed Matt with a Half & Half Suplex before applying a Rear Naked Choke.
Nick would hit a 450 Splash to the referee just before Matt tapped out, saving the match. Anderson & Gallows would make his way to the ring and help take out Penta & Kingston, only to take a dive from Penta and fall. They’d try for the Fear Factor combo that won last week, and Kazarian would powerbomb Cutler through a table.
Odds evened, we’d see the Fear Factor into the spinning backfist, but Nick Jackson took out another referee. Kazarian would run Nick down before taking a Magic Killer. Kingston grabbed some thumb tacks and had them thrown into his eyes, before Penta hit Matt with a trash can as he went for a powerbomb onto the tacks.
Nick and Penta found themselves up top, and Nick hit a hurricanrana into the tacks, only for Kingston to break up the pin. A superkick party dropped Kingston, before Penta took thrown tacks to the face. Kingston was fed tacks, a superkick landed and this was over.
