Hello and welcome to Impact Wrestling Results!
Tonight should be a fun episode as we continue on the Road to Slammiversary, so let’s get to the action!
BTI (Before The Impact) – Steve Macklin vs. Suicide
This should be a fun one and Macklin’s toughest test to date.
Macklin started it off with a side headlock and a takeover, but Suicide reversed it and we had a cool series of exchanges and reversals before Macklin hit with a shoulder block.
Suicide responded with a couple of arm drags and an armbar as he avoided Macklin’s strikes.
A basement dropkick led to a pin attempt by Suicide, and Suicide hit a crossbody for another pin attempt.

Macklin nailed a short armed clothesline to halt Suicide’s momentum, and then hit a series of stomps and a knee to the back.
Macklin hit a series of kicks and then an Olympic Slam for a pin attempt, but Suicide countered an Irish Whip into an abdominal stretch and a sunset flip attempt Mackling powered out of.
Macklin then hung Suicide in a Tree of Woe for a lecture about Suicide being nothing but weakness and simplicity, and then hit a running shoulder for a near pinfall.
Suicide Spider-Maned into the ropes and avoided Macklin, sending him to the floor, and then hit s suicide dive and then a head scissors takedown and a running dropkick for a near pinfall.
Macklin fired up and caught Suicide’s springboard off the ropes with a forearm and hit his inverted type of driver for the win.
Entering the show
Kenny Omega and Don Callis entered the arena and Gia Miller asked if they’re concerned about Sami Callihan.
Callis ran off a series of insults and went on about it being a big night.

We’ve been waiting for this match and expect it to officially kick off a really fun feud.
It started fast with them exchanging blows and Jake nailing a clubbing blow on Myers’ chest that sent him to the floor.
Jake continued hammering on him and bounced Myers’ head off the ring steps before he threw him back in the ring.
Back in the ring, Jake clotheslined Myers back out to the floor, and Myers swept his leg on the apron to gain the advantage. Myers hit a suplex on the ramp and rolled into the ring.
Jake made it back into the ring and Myers went right after him.
Jake powered out of a rear chin lock and hit a series of double hand blows and a hammer blow to Myers’ back and followed it with a sit out power bomb for a near pinfall.
Myers hit a sidekick to the stomach and followed it with a DDT for a near pinfall. Myers then headed to the top rope but jake caught him with a right but Myers fought him off and hit a flying elbow for a another near pinfall.

Myers avoided a Black Hole Slam, but ran into one right afterwards off the ropes for Jake to pick up the win.
Per stipulation, Myers now has to verbally acknowledge Jakes as a professional. Myers tried to slip out of the ring and Jake pulled him back in and handed him the mic.
Myers was about to say something when Beale hit Jake from behind and they started to beat him down when Matt Cardona ran in and went after Myers, then hit Radio Silence on Beale to clear the ring.
This was a great way to start the show and Impact Wrestling Results can’t wait to see how the rest of the night will go.
