To make this event extra special, fans will be in attendance for the first time in over a year, and we can’t wait to feel their energy.
Without further ado, let’s get to the predictions.

Countdown to Slammiversary – Knockouts Tag Team Championship – Fire ‘N Flava (Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz) (c) vs. Havok and Rosemary
We’re getting an awesome match to get the night rolling as Fire ‘N Flava will defend the Knockouts Tag Team Championship against Havok and Rosemary on Countdown to Slammiversary.
Hogan and Steelz have defeated Rosemary and Havok’s previous attempts to win tag team gold with different partners, but there’s something different about the dark duo.
In fact, now that Havok’s joined Decay we think they have a definitive edge. Fire ‘N Flava have shown how tough and smart they are during their reign, but we think it’s going to come to an end here.
Havok and Rosemary will win the Knockouts tag title in a brutal contest.
Mixed Tag Match – Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood vs. Matt Cardona and Mystery Partner
After Myers recruited Tenille to help him ambush Cardona this past week, we’re getting a mixed tag match with them teaming against Cardona and a partner of his choosing.
This is where we expect a surprise return by Laurel Van Ness (Chelsea Green) as Cardona’s partner.
She also happens to be his fiancé, so it works for the romantic in us all as Cardona’s past and present/future collide.
Because of her return, we think Cardona and Ness will pull out the win, but receive a beatdown by Myers and Tenille afterwards to keep the feud going.
4 Way Match- Impact Tag Team Championship – Violent By Design (c) vs. Rich Swann and Willie Mack vs. Fallah Bahh vs. The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson)
Violent By Design are going to have their work cut out for them as they’re unable to matchup against their opponents as they’ve done, so we expect them to bring out their heavy hitters.
With joe Doering and Rhino most likely taking center stage for VBD, an interesting twist has occurred in that TJP can’t take part and this leaves Fallah Bahh without a partner.
Will Bahh go it alone and will we see Gallows and Doering face off? Swann and Mack will be circling and we expect them to strike at the right time to steal the tag team titles from VBD.
Eddie Edwards vs. W. Morrissey
After Morrissey attacked Edwards in the parking lot that prevented Edwards from having his dream match against NJPW’s Satoshi Kojima, Edwards is set to get his pound of flesh and even the score.
This will be a brutally awesome match as Edwards will push Morrissey like no other as yet, but Morrissey will prevail in the end and keep his dominant streak going.
Ultimate X – X-Division Championship – Josh Alexander (c) vs. Trey Miguel vs. Ace Austin vs. Chris Bey vs. Rohit Raju vs. Petey Williams
After two years, Ultimate X returns and it promises to be in the running for match of the night. It’s one of the most dangerous matches around, and it’s hosting six of the best in the world for the X-Division Championship.
This is one of those where it’s next to impossible to pick a winner, but we’re going to go with Chris Bey pulling out the upset with Josh Alexander retaining as a close second in finishes.
No matter who wins, this is going to be an awesome match so be sure to grab some popcorn.
Moose vs. Chris Sabin
Another grudge match, this one came about after Sabin returned following Moose attacked him a couple of months back.
Now, Sabin is looking to even the score and Moose could be in for his toughest fight yet as Sabin not only has the ability but he’s raised his intensity big time.
We think Moose will win by disqualification as he’ll push Sabin into using other means to end him.
Knockouts Championship – Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Mystery Opponent
After Purrazzo claimed she doesn’t need to prepare for an opponent to win, Gail Kim came out and told her how much she respects her and that she set an all time great up to face her at Slammiversary.
Purrazzo will have to wait for her match to find out who she’ll face, but we think it’ll be Mickie James.
One of the greatest ever will want another title run, and we think it’d be a great way for her to close out her career.
Unfortunately, the Virtuosa will have other plans and we think Purrazzo will retain after a hard fought match.
No Disqualification – Impact World Championship – Kenny Omega (c) w/Don Callis vs. Sami Callihan
This is the match we’ve all been waiting for, and we’ll find out if Sami Callihan is the hero we all need.
It feels right that Callihan wins the Impact championship here, especially since there’s really no one else on the roster that’s been built up to challenge Kenny Omega.
But, and there’s always a but, while this is also a no DQ match that plays to Callihan’s strength, it also plays into Omega’s.
The Good Brothers will still be there and maybe some extra help from AEW.
We think that won’t matter as this will be the time when the Impact locker room rises up and prevents Omega from getting the help he’ll need.
So, assuming it stays a one on one, we’re calling Callihan as the winner here. But we’re not convinced there won’t be a swerve coming.
