At Best In The World, we saw Shane Taylor Promotions defend the ROH World Six Man Championships against an odd trio of Dalton Castle, Dak Draper, and Eli Isom. Castle had previously ruined matches between Draper & Isom, and his mind games continued during that match. He seems to have built a small relationship with Draper, but Isom isn’t on board for this trio at all. Tonight, they all meet in a three way match, with pride on the line.
Fast Paced Action From The Start
After being disrobed by his boys, Castle would be ready to go. He’d sucker punch Draper before going after Isom. Isom would fend Castle off before Draper took him over the top rope with a lariat. Isom sent Draper outside and nailed a no touch dive over the top rope.
On the outside, Isom would be held back by Draper before taking a rising knee strike from Castle. Back in the ring, Isom took another knee strike to the jaw, followed by a lariat and single underhook suplex. Castle would be yanked outside of the ring and shoved into the post by Draper, who would look to suplex Isom.
Isom countered into a crossbody, before Draper caught him with a mile high flapjack before a big knee drop. Draper would be hit with the ripcord Northern Lights, before Isom would catch Castle with a crossarm German Suplex. This was broken up by Draper who nailed a powerslam, before Castle threw him out of the ring.
Dak Draper Gets Handed The Win
Isom would keep on moving however, catching Castle on the top rope with a dropkick before nailing a backdrop as well. Castle slipped outside and Isom followed, only to be run down by a big boot from Draper. Brought back into the ring, Draper went for a pinfall and Castle pulled him out.
They’d argue about Best In The World, before Draper chucked Castle over the barricade. Back in the ring, Isom nailed a spinning side suplex, getting a two count. Draper was sent to the apron, and then the floor with a dropkick. Isom would follow him with a triangle moonsault, before Castle threw a steel chair at Isom.
He’d pull Isom into the ring, before Castle told him to do something big. The Boys got on to apron and mimed the Magnum Drop, which ended this fight. Whatever Castle had planned, it wasn’t a win, but Draper will take it.
A fast and furious triple threat, which saw another star performance from Isom. Draper came out on top after an odd finish, but a win is a win, and he looked as impressive as ever in this match. Match Rating: 3/5 (***)
