Jill Duggar has announced that she’s pregnant and expecting a baby with her husband Derrick Dillard.
Jill Duggar Announces That She Is Expecting Her Third Child With Husband Derrick Dillard-‘Baby Due July 2022!’
This is delightful news for the couple, given that Jill had recently suffered a miscarriage last year. While that could have prevented them from trying to have a baby again, it simply increased the desire to expand their family.
As of now, they are parents to two children, and yet, the prospect of growing their family was something that they did not want to pass up on.
In an official statement on their website, the couple said: “We have prayed that, if it was God’s will, he would bless us with another baby.
“We are excited to announce that God has answered our prayers and we are expecting our rainbow baby due July 2022!” Naturally, the couple wanted to celebrate the momentous occasion as soon as possible.
In the pictures here, we can see both Jill and Bob standing next to each other alongside their two children. The couple are holding a balloon, which spells out the world ‘baby’, as confetti can be seen falling down to mark the special occasion.
And yet, after having announced the news, the fans were intrigued to find out what the gender was. As of now, the pair have kept a tight lid on it, as they simply want to make sure that they make the appropriate preparations in anticipation of the birth.
With that being said, there will also be a wait to find out the name of the baby too. They stated: “We are so thankful for a healthy baby and pregnancy so far and we look forward to finding out the gender soon!”
The fans on social media were delighted for the couple. They felt that this was the best possible way to overcome the devastating news they had experienced when Jill had suffered a miscarriage last year.
One person wrote: “Aaw…Happy for them.” Hopefully, the pregnancy goes ahead without any complications. And after what has been such a difficult 2021 for most people around the world, this would be the perfect way to mark 2022.
