‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close out the week with some spoilery goodies to share.
Looks like we’re going to circle back to some safe storylines and this episode will be the kick off point.
We hope we’re wrong, but it looks like the show’s switching into first gear for more slow burn in the coming days and weeks, so we’re settling in for the long haul once again.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, August 26: Queen of the mountain
With all of the problems behind her, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is looking to return and prove that she and Newman Enterprises are ready to take over the world and naysayers be warned.
After giving a strong conference call, she’s going to address the public and the shareholders and board will be perfectly happy at the musical CEO chairs continuing for lazy writing reasons.
Everything will look perfect for upcoming conquest, which will set the stage for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to start falling back to his old self and terrorize the family.
There may be a couple of new twists coming up, but we’re prepared for yet another round of wash, rinse, repeat.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, August 26: Oops, he did it again
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are looking forward to this one simply because we want to know what Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is going to do to upset Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
The fact Nate proved Devon doesn’t respect him when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) pitched Nate’s idea and Devon was receptive to it coming from her will add some layers to this one.
Whatever Nate does, Devon will be furious that Nate’s the one everyone’s talking about while the CEO will be left on the sidelines.
If we had to guess, Devon may be jealous of Nate’s energy and drive as it’ll remind him of himself when he started out, and it’ll be a reminder of the dull billionaire he’s become.
It’s going to be interesting to see if Devon is willing to swallow his pride and help mend their relationship before Nate’s a COO in title only.
If that’s not motivation, we don’t know what is.
With two of Genoa City’s top companies appearing to be going to two different directions, it’s going to be pretty cool to see how things are handled.
We have no fear Newman Enterprises will remain perfectly fine, but Chancellor-Winters could be another story.
Will Nate and Devon figure things out before they destroy what’s left of their relationship? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.

So sorry they choose to build the story around Victoria again and leave Adam to return to his old self. I loved the new improved Adam and am sick of the spoiled Victoria. Also loved Adam with Sally and Jacks budding relationship with Phyllis. Quit writing the same old stories.
