Chris Pratt openly criticized the current middleweight UFC champion Israel Adesanya’s performance at the UFC 276 event. But now, after one week he sends his apologies.
Chris Prat is a long-time UFC fan. It is not the first time that he attends one of the UFC’s events. However, this last time differs from all previous times. Aside from attending the event, he gave some predictions before its start.
Chris Pratt Apologizes To Israel Adesanya – I’m Sorry Brutha, My Bad
“My picks are gonna be: I think Adesanya is going to lose to Cannonier — I’m going the USA all the way down the board. I like O’Malley, I like Strickland, I like Max Holloway.” – Pratt says.
And he couldn’t be more wrong. Furthermore, after the event, he criticized the performance of some of the fighters on the event’s fight card, including Israel Adesanya, the main fight contender, and the current middleweight champion.
It is unquestionable that Adesanya won the fight. He outfought Cannonier and earned his fifth title defense. However, many were left unsatisfied with the overall performance of both fighters in the octagon.
Chris Pratt is one of those who were left unsatisfied with what they saw.
“I’m going to say this as humbly as I can – I’ve never been in the octagon.” – Pratt says on the UFC 276 post-fight show. “I don’t know this game. I’m just an actor. But I don’t like to go out there and have all that talk, and then just do a little bit of acting. I mean, come on, man. You’ve got to capitalize on that promise of being so badass.”
Having said that, he thinks that Israel Adesanya just talks the talk, but doesn’t walk the walk. And this offends the middleweight champion.
Israel took to Twitter to respond to the “Guardians of the Galaxy’ star. He posted a video of a scene from the ‘Wanted’ movie. In the clip Chris Pratt gets his face smashed with a keyboard by the main character.
“Good morning. I’m the man. You’re just a fan.” – he added in the description. Chris Pratt realized that he offended the UFC star and is fast to reply with an apology.
“I’m like, ‘Come on, man, cash in on that!’ You gotta cash in on that promise to be so badass. And I dunno. If I bet with my money, I would have bet Adesanya’d do something like that. But I was hoping to see Cannonier make it.” – Chris wrote. “You’re right. I’m sorry brutha. It bugs me when people criticize my work – having never themselves risked anything.” – he adds. “It makes me a hypocrite to do exactly that to you. However, my bad, keep on keeping on champ.”
I am making $92 an hour working from home. i was greatly surprised at the same time as my neighbour advised me she changed into averaging $ninety five however I see the way it works now. I experience mass freedom now that I’m my non-public boss.
