This had occurred during the pair’s time together in the musical “Spring Awakening.” And given that the musical involved playing two teenagers who were coming to terms with their sexuality, they did get very close indeed.
As part of that process, the duo did have to perform scenes of an intimate nature. Thus, in order to break any inhibitions, it is fair to say that they shared many things.
In a documentary entitled “Spring Awakening: Those You’ve Known,” Lea said: “I literally showed him my whole vagina. He was like, ‘I’ve never seen a woman’s vagina before. Would you show me?’
“And I was like, ‘Sure.’ And I took a desk lamp … and showed him. That’s how close we are.” While that was a huge revelation, there were other important factors that did emerge.
First of all, Jonathan was still working out what his own sexuality was during this period. And thereafter, he would go on to come out as gay. As such, it is safe to say that the musical had an impact on him in more ways than one.
Secondly, in any event, Jonathan did not reciprocate the same thing towards Lea. She added: “I’ve never seen Jonathan naked. I’ve never seen his penis.”
The reaction from the fans on social media was one of laughter. A significant proportion of people could not believe that Lea would disclose such intimate matters. And in the process of doing so, they began to mock the star for her disclosure.
One person wrote: “The fact that she’s trending because of this and funny girl i can’t,” while another person stated: “Some people should not be allowed to speak and i feel like she is one of them.”
