This is going to be a really fun and intense match, and one Impact Wrestling Results have been waiting for.
The action started on the Ramp when RVD attacked Callihan, but it didn’t work out like he expected.
Callihan threw RVD into the ring apron, then the barrier. He threw RVD in another barricade, but RVD got a couple of shots in.
When RVD went after him, Callihan hit with a knee and threw RVD into the barricade.
Callihan kept taunting Forbes and backing her off between beatings.
She grabbed Callihan’s ankle when he tried to climb into the ring, and RVD nailed him, knocking him to the floor.
RVD threw him into the barricade, then hit Rolling Thunder on the floor.
RD kept hammering on Callihan, and hit a spinning heel kick with Callihan against the apron.
RVD threw Callihan into the ring and the match officially started.
Callihan alternated between kicks to RVD’s legs and chops to his chest, taking control back.
Callihan then chocked him on the ropes, and hit with a blow to the midsection and stomped RVD’s foot before running him into a corner where Callihan continued beating and choking him.
Callihan threw RVD into the ropes, but RVD hit with a drop toe hold, hanging Callihan on the ropes where Forbes could kick him.
RVD then hit a springboard kick as we headed to commercial.
Callihan never stays down
Impact Wrestling Results returned with RVD taking control and hitting with a spinning heel kick on Callihan in the corner.
After being backed off by the referee, RVD hit with a sliding dropkick, then a doube leg frop.
RVD rolled Callihan over for a pin attempt, but Callihan got his foot on the rope.
RVD locked in a camel clutch, and Callihan got out of it by biting RVD’s hand.
RVD the locked in a body scissors, but Callihann worked his way out of it by focusing on RVD’s ankle.
The two exchanged blows, and then eyes rakes before Callihan caught him with three kicks when RVD came off the rope, then he hit a DDT for a near pinfall.
Callihan had RVD ready for a piledriver when Forbes distracted the Referee and Callihan. She sprayed body spray in Callihan’s eyes.
RVD rolled him up with a leg scissors for the pin.
Forbes told RVD she’s got this and hit with a couple of stomps, then a hip attacked.
While she was celebrating, Callihan got up and readied to piledrive Forbes when RDV stopped him, then looked for something outside the ring while Forbes stomped on Callihan.
RVD got back in the ring with a steel chair and rested the chair across Callihan’s chest.
Callihan jumped up and hit RVD on the head with the steel chair as he climbed the ropes, the piledrove Katie Forbes and mock pinned her.
The North and Ace Austin and Madman Fulton set a match
Backstage, Gia asked Ace Austin about last week, and he said he always has a plan lined up. He added that he pinned Chris Sabin, putting them next in line for the tag team titles.
The North came out and informed them that they run the division, and since they were champs for over a year, they’re the ones that deserve the shot.
Ethan Page said the North was responsible for the win last week, and it looks like we have the North vs. Ace Austin and Madman Fulton facing off next week.
