Hello and welcome to Impact Wrestling Live Results!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VD0tGoveD4I
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we should have a great show tonight.
We not only get a press conference between Kenny Omega and Rich Swann, but we get to say goodbye to the legendary Jazz as she officially retires tonight.
It’s been a great run and we wish her the best. Thank you for everything, Jazz!
Impact Wrestling Live Results will be back for the 8 p.m. EST showtime, so we’ll see you then!
Segment 1
BTI (Before The Impact) – Havok vs. Nevaeh
After a grueling match, Havok gained some closure after she hit a leg drop for the win.
Segment 2
TJP vs. Josh Alexander
This was an instant classic as they put on another technical masterclass, but Alexander eventually won after hitting Divine Intervention for the win.
Segment 3
Crazzy Steve w/Rosemary and Black Taurus vs. Karl Anderson w/Doc Gallows
This was a pretty good match and Steve came close, but Gallows distracted him for Anderson to hit a spinebuster for the win.
Segment 4
Eddie Edwards and Willie Mack called out VBD for taking out Tommy Dreamer before their match at Hardcore Justice.
VBD came out and Young said they had nothing to do with that, but Edwards and Mack wanted a fight.
Sabin and Storm came out to help, and Storm challenged VBD to a 8 man match at Rebellion.
Segment 5
Jazz’s Farewell Speech
Jazz gave a great speech but was interrupted by Fire N’ Flava who chose to mock her.
It was announced that they had a match thanks to Scott D’Amore, and Jazz and Jordynne Grace defeated them in the impromptu match for Jazz to go out with a win.
Jazz then thanked all of the fans for our support over the years and the locker room came out to pay their respects.
This was an awesome moment, and we can’t say this enough: Thank you, Jazz. You’re a legend and we loved every minute of the ride with you.
Segment 6
Pick Your Poison Match – Brian Myers vs. Matt Cardona
And Mat Cardona’s choice to face Myers is…
Brian Myers vs. Jake Something
This was a pretty good match and choice by Cardona, but Myers won with a Roster Cut as Jake chased him into the ring.
Myers then made his selection, and Sami Callihan appeared behind Cardona on the ramp and nailed him as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
Sami Callihan vs. Matt Cardona
This fight turned brutal as they took it to the floor as Cardona gave as good as he got before Sami hit an exploder as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
This was Cardona’s best match in Impact despite losing to Sami by way of a package piledriver.
Afterwards, Sami called Trey out and told him he’s the one that took Tommy Dreamer out at Hardcore Justice so Trey could be in the main event.
Trey attacked him, and Sami hit with a kick to the groin, a clothesline, a chair shot to the head, and an exploder onto the opened chair.
Sami reached the ramp and winked at Trey as Trey tried to get to his feet in the ring.
Segment 9
Rebellion Press Conference
This was an interesting promo moment as Tony Kahn. Don Callis, and Kenny Omega cemented themselves and the expected heels.
That left Swann and Impact as the underdog faces and it should be interesting to see how it all works out.
After proclaiming no one will remember Swann, Omega offered him his hand then slapped him in the face.
Swann went after him and security broke it up as the show ended.
This was a great show with solid to great matches, and the ending press conference talking about unifying the titles will fuel speculation about AEW purchasing Impact.
