BTI (Before The Impact) is continuing the trend of setting up IMPACT with a good match, and Impact Wrestling Preview can’t wait.
This feud is a couple of months old, but it still feels fresh as we continue getting new matchups in singles and tag team matches, and it doesn’t show any sign of slowing down.
After W. Morrissey joined VBD as Eric Young’s surprise replacement, he tipped the scales in his team’s favor as James Storm, Chris Sabin, Willie Mack, and Eddie Edwards couldn’t match up with him.
So, James Storm will once again try to right the ship and deal Violent By Design a blow when he faces Deaner on Before The Impact.
This will be a fun match as Storm and Deaner will go after each other from the start.
Deaner’s aggressiveness will be a good counter to Storm’s strength and we expect this to be a top level match. Of course, we also expect the rest of VBD to get involved at some point.
It’ll be interesting to see how well Chris Sabin can deal with VBD on the floor to give Storm a chance to win.
With that being said, we expect Storm to win before suffering a beat down, but the numbers game can easily change that.
X-Division Championship – Josh Alexander (c) vs. Ace Austin w/Madman Fulton
Ace Austin isn’t one to let the dust settle as he activated his rematch clause and will force Josh Alexander to defend the X-Division four days after Alexander won at Rebellion.
After they had the match of the night at Rebellion, they’ll look to create another classic here.
Impact Wrestling Preview expects this to be the match of the night as Austin and Alexander are too good not to put on a 5 star match every time.
We also expect Fulton to become involved in some way, and it’ll help Alexander get over as a solid champion after fighting them off to retain his championship.
What could make this interesting is Chris Bey should be returning from his injury, and we have no doubt he’ll want to get back into the X-Division hunt, so could he be next in line to face Alexander?
This would also give Austin a chance to go for the World Championship again if he loses, and that’d open up a few interesting angles going forward.
Who do you think will walk out of tonight as the X-Division Champion? Let us know in the comments below.
