Impact Wrestling Preview has been having a great time the last couple of months and we’ve seen some debuts and returns of legends in Impact Wrestling, and tonight we get a little of both.
Taylor Wilde will continue her return and quest for the Deonna Purrazzo and the Knockouts Championship as she’ll face Susan tonight.
Last week, Wilde defeated Kimber Lee while Purrazzo stayed backstage to watch, and we expect Purrazzo will do the same this week.
It’s her standard practice to watch her future opponents to figure out their strategies to help her plan for her part, but she’s been at ringside before.
She also looked hesitant last week, like she’s intimidated by Wilde and for good reason. But tonight we expect her to get her hands on Wilde post match.
Wilde will defeat Susan and then Lee will attack her and Purrazzo will come to the ring when she feels it’s safe, but is it ever really safe when Wilde’s chasing a championship?
Add to it Tenille Dashwood has decided she and Wilde are a team and friends, and things are going to get very interesting very quickly.
We expect a Knockouts Championship match to be set for Under Siege, and also a tag match for next week with Wilde and Dashwood facing Kimber Lee and Susan.
This is going to be a fun storyline.
Kiera Hogan w/Tasha Steelz vs. Rachel Ellering w/Jordynne Grace
With Fire n’ Flava’s rematch for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship slated for Under Siege, Hogan will look to regain moment for her and Steelz by defeated Rachel Ellering.
Hogan will have the upper hand in that this is Ellering’s Impact Wrestling debut in singles action, but that’s were the edge for either one ends.
As we saw in the tag match, Ellering and Grace are mirror images of each other in power, and we expect much the same from Ellering here.
Hogan has an incredible amount of speed and athleticism, and we expect her to relay on that and her quick wit to cause some major headaches for Ellering.
One on one we have to give the edge to Hogan to pull out the win, and with Steelz in her corner we expect her to become involved in some way.
It’ll then be up to Grace to neutralize Steelz, but Impact Wrestling Preview has noticed tag partners tend to be slow to help their teammate out.
Except for Steelz and Hogan. Their motors never shut off and they’re constantly on the move and thinking about how to give each other an advantage.
In the end, it’ll come down to whether or not Grace can do enough to give Ellering a chance to use her power to subdue Hogan.
We think she will and it’ll set up a big match between Steelz and Grace next week to head into Under Siege with all of the momentum.
Will Ellering pull out a win in her singles debut? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
