Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we’re set for a fun show tonight as we deal with WrestleMania Backlash aftermath and start getting ready for Hell in a Cell.
So pull up a seat and buckle in. WWE Raw Live Results will be back for the 8 p.m. EST showtime and we’ll get things rolling.
Segment 1
Bobby Lashley came out with half a dozen ladies to celebrate, and MVP issued an open challenge.
Drew McIntyre came out to accept, and MVP said it was open to anyone but him and Braun Strowman.
McIntyre didn’t like that and went after Lashley, who left the ring as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
AJ Styles w/Omos vs. Elias w/Jaxson Ryker
This started off with a good back and forth as Elias brought out a newfound aggression and pushed Style early before Styles sent him to the floor and hit a crossbody over the ropes as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
This was a pretty good match Elias almost won a couple of times before Styles gained the upper hand and went for a Phenomenal Forearm. Ryker pulled Styles off the apron for the DQ.
Elias then beatdown Styles while Omos stalked after Ryker before Omos returned to Styles’ side.
Segment 4
Riddle’s attempt to get Randy Orton to apologize to the New Day backfired and resulted in a match later tonight between Orton and Kingston.
On Alexa’s Playground, Alexa Bliss chatted with Natalya and Tamina by asking what their favorite colors are.
Tamina was abrupt and threatened her, but Bliss said Lily likes her after how she mauled Reginald last week. She wished them luck and promised to be watching.
Segment 5
Angel Garza vs. Drew Gulak
Garza dominated after Gulak started it off fast, and won with a Wing Clipper and shoved his rose down Gulak’s throat.
R-Truth was rolled up by Akira Tozawa during an interview for the pin and Tozawa is the new 24/7 Champion.
Segment 6
Randy Orton w/Riddle vs. Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods
This was a good match that ended when Kingston rolled Orton up when he was distracted by Woods’ horn.
After the match, Orton left and Riddle shoved Woods down when Woods tried to stop him from following.
Segment 7
Women’s Tag Team Championship – Tamina and Natalya (c) vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler w/Reginald
This only lasted a couple of minutes as Alexa Bliss caused fire to explode from the ring posts to distract Jax and Baszler. Tamina and Natalya hit the Hart Attack on Baszler for the win.
Segment 8
Sheamus vs. Ricochet
Ricochet stole Sheamus’ coat and hat and mocked him in glorious fashion as he headed tot eh ring, wearing the Celtic Warrior’s clothes.
In the ring, Ricochet went after Sheamus but Sheamus caught him with a clothesline and the brutality began as Sheamus rammed him back first into a ring post as we headed to commercial.
Segment 9
This was an awesome match and by far the best of the night so far. Sheamus eventually won with a Brogue Kick.
Afterwards, Sheamus said his other shoulder is feeling empty and warned Lashley to watch out because he may take him up on his open challenge.
Segment 10
Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair
This started off pretty evenly at first with momentum going back and forth before Flair kicked out Asuka’s legs on the apron as Rhea Ripley came out to watch.
Gee, someone coming out to join the commentary team or watch as we headed to commercial. We’re sure Ripley won’t interfere, right?
Segment 11
After a great back and forth, Flair was distracted by Ripley and Asuka countered a figure 4 into a small package for the win.
Segment 12
Lumberjack Match – Damian Priest vs. John Morrison
Thankfully, no zombies tonight.
This was a solid match and Morrison showed some nifty footwork to fight off and avoid the lumberjacks before he entered the ring and was dropped with a yurinagi as we headed to commercial.
Segment 13
A brawl among the lumberjacks and Priest superplexing Morrison to the floor on top of the lumberjacks were pretty cool highlights before Priest nailed a Hit the Lights for the win.
Segment 14
Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods
After MVP pointed out this isn’t a championship match, itstarted out fast with a one armed spinebuster by Lashley for a near pinfall.
Kingston used his speed to gain the upper hand and sent Lashley to the floor with a dropkick and hit a crossbody over the top rope as we headed to commercial.
Segment 15
This was a pretty good match that Lashley had taken over, and we were looking forward to seeing Kingston make some kind of comeback.
Instead, McIntyre appeared and hit Lashley with MVP’s cane so Kingston could roll him up for the win.
It was a pretty good show until that, but we were waiting for something to happen like this. At least we weren’t let down?
What did you all think of the show and ending? let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Results.
