We’re getting closer to Slammiversary, and Impact Wrestling Preview is stoked for tonight’s show as it’s loaded with action.
We expect plenty of surprises and in the next couple of weeks, so let’s buckle up and dive into the action!
BTI (Before The Impact) – Deonna Purrazzo vs. Kimber Lee w/Susan
Last week, Deonna Purrazzo tortured Susan as she drove the point home that she was the one in charge and that their partnership was over.

In doing so, the Knockouts Champion went too far in refusing to release Susan from her Fujiwara Armbar and Kimber Lee had to intercede.
Now, it’s Kimber’s turn to prove herself and while we expect a good match, we don’t see anyway she can beat Purrazzo. But stranger things have happened and Susan will be there.
Maybe Su Yung will have something to say about the outcome?
Chris Bey vs. Petey Williams
The X-Division action has been getting red hot the last few weeks and with Ultimate X returning at Slammiversary battle lines have been drawn.
Chris Bey has chosen to remain uncommitted to which side to choose and took a video selfie on himself watching the brawl last week.
Personally, we think it was the moment of the show, but not everyone agreed.
Petey told Bey to pick a side before a side picks him, and after Bey remained out of the ring he and Petey have a match tonight to settle things.
This has the potential to be the match of the night if they are able to get a full match in, but we think there’s going to be a run in from the rest of the X-Division and it’ll quickly break down into a No Contest.
TJP and Fallah Bahh vs. Rich Swann and Willie Mack
Impact Wrestling’s tag team division is heating up and after some friendly banter at Swinger’s Palace last week, TJP and Fallah Bahh will face Rich Swann and Willie Mack.
This should be an awesome match with plenty of showmanship and athleticism to spare.
TJP and Bahh have been on a roll the last couple of weeks and we expect it to continue because, well, we’d like to see them get a serious push.
Swann and Mack are almost mirror images on them in several ways, and while we prefer TJP and Bahh to win, we wouldn’t have a problem with Swann and Mack pulling it out.
This is simply one of those matches we’re going to sit back and enjoy.
Eddie Edwards vs. Satoshi Kojima
After weeks of feuding with Violent By Design, Edwards and Kojima are going to close out Kojima’s time in Impact Wrestling with a dream match between the two friends.
At least, we think this will be Kojima’s last match for the time being as he’s rumored to be going back to Japan.
This is another match where we’re hoping to sit back and enjoy two legends doing their thing. The only downside would be is VBD interfere in the match, but we don’t see it happening.
Now afterwards, that’s a different story. This is just going to be a cool moment.
Team Dreamer (Sami Callihan, Moose, Chris Sabin w/Tommy Dreamer) vs. Team Callis (Kenny Omega, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson w/Don Callis)
The build for Slammiversary’s main event has been awesome, and it’s going to continue tonight as Team Dreamer faces Team Callis and we get a preview of what we could see at the pay-per-view.
Callihan will try to get his hands on Kenny Omega but we doubt the Good Brothers will let that happen, but they’ll have their hands full with Sabin and Moose.
Speaking of Sabin and Moose, there’s a lot of bad blood between them and there’s every chance things will implode between them at some point in this match, with Sabin being the one to start it.
If they can coexist long enough, we expect Team Dreamer to win and Callihan to get a couple of shots on Omega, but Don Callis always has a trick up his sleeve.
That being said, Impact Wrestling is due for a win and we think they’ll get along long enough to get one and Dreamer will one up Callis.
Who do you think will prevail? Let us know in the comments below.
