Kris Statlander & Leyla Hirsch were friends, until Hirsch felt that this was holding her back. They weren’t able to get along in tag team action – leading to Hirsch snapping. An interview would later see Statlander say that there was a reason Hirsch was orphaned as a kid – which took his minor feud and made it deeply personal.

Don Callis Is Back… But No Kenny Omega Yet
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Kenny Omega – but tonight seemed like it might be the time for Omega to return. His music hit for an interview section, but instead Don Callis hit the ring. On commentary, Excalibur offered Tony Schiavone 500$ to punch him out.
Don Callis would hype up the AEW World Championship reign of Kenny Omega, saying that he should blame the fans goading him on for him still being out. Tonight’s card is a disgrace of violence, and Kenny Omega deserves a better return platform. Callis does hope that Young Bucks & Adam Cole get wins however, even if Cole will just be keeping the belt warm for Omega.
HOOK Remains Undefeated In AEW
QT Marshall has had some issues with the rapid rise of HOOK in AEW. He claims that he deserves the credit for this, as he was the one who was training HOOK in the Nightmare Family. However, HOOK doesn’t care about this, and has instead ragdolled Marshall around. Tonight, he gives HOOK his PPV debut – as they clash on the Buy In.
After QT Marshall succeeded in drawing the ire of fans on his way to the ring with a promo, fans were excited to see HOOK make his way to the ring instead. Looking as calm and collected as ever, HOOK was ready to turn his back on Marshall before the match. Marshall tried to pick the ankle of HOOK, and instead ended up on his face.

House Of Black Need To Slay A Monster
House Of Black are now three men strong, with Buddy Matthews joining Malakai Black & Brody King. Their current target has been Death Triangle, especially with Rey Fenix injured giving them a numbers edge. However, they’d simply bring in a giant in Erick Redbeard to even the odds – and now we have a massive trios match for the Buy In.
Black & PAC would start things off fast with some fast kicks, but they ended up at a stalemate. Buddy Matthews would meet Penta Oscuro in the ring and be sent outside with a running hurricanrana. Matthews tried to slip back into the ring, but Penta was right there to stop him. Brody King would tag in – and Redbeard was ready to meet the challenge.
They’d collide with shoulder tackles in the middle of the ring before moving to elbow strikes. The House ALWAYS Wins
Penta would tag in and try to control King, but would end up in the corner of House of Black. Matthews failed to keep him controlled, and PAC would get the tag into the match – and would get caught with the Green Killer DDT. King hit a chest breaking chop on PAC, before Black applied a headscissor.
Matthews would distract the referee as PAC got the rope break, allowing Black to maintain the hold. PAC would get free and get the tag to Penta who unloaded chops, backstabbers and slingblades on Black & Matthews before a Mexican Destroyer for a two count. However, Matthews was the legal man, and would Curb Stomp Penta for a two count – with PAC making the save.
Redbeard would take a Black Mass kick from Black, and would stay on his feet to go for a Double Chokeslam. Black got the Black Mist, and King nailed Gonzo Bomb to allow Black to get the pin and the win!
