There appears to be more unrest withing the WWE ranks as Live Morgan recently called out the WWE for editing out part of her match against Natalya on this past Monday Night Raw (6/22). Frustration with the promotion isn’t anything new as we’ve heard stories from enough former talent to have some understanding of what goes on.
In this case, it appears more along the lines of the WWE editing out parts of Morgan’s match with Natalya.
Thank you for posting photos of what you cut out of my match I guess. Appreciate it @wwe pic.twitter.com/QfsZClDtAs

The power of pretaping
This is the power of pretaping instead of live shows because it allows the WWE to edit out what they don’t like and make an entirely different match than what we see. We’ve seen this before when in England, Becky Lynch was booed in her match, but they edited it to cheers on their youtube and other outlets. The same with Roman Reigns and Goldberg after Goldberg won the Universal Championship from the Fiend. They were resoundly booed with clearly audible chants of “You both suck!” yet on WWE outlets we hear cheers.
This is actually typical of sleight of hand shows or carnival shows professional wrestling is based off of. It’s the bearded lady who’s not really a lady or is but wears a fake beard. It’s the strongman lifting plastic weights marked as 500 lbs each.
In many ways, as much as other have claimed that Vince McMahon wanted to be a tv producer instead of a wrestling promoter that he would run something that is so similar to the sideshow and other carnival acts.
They’ve come full circle, but not in a good way.
Of course, there are other risks involved.
Edge was reportedly injured doing a retake during his and Orton’s match at Backlash. Had it not been pretaped with retakes, he wouldn’t be injured right now. Assuming those reports are true.
Liv Morgan deserves better
The thing is, Liv Morgan deserves better than she’s getting. She appears to have tried to make a name for herself as a singles competitor, but now they’re hinting at her and Ruby Riot teaming up again since both have had less than impressive singles opportunities.
They’ve been downgraded to jobbers for the Charlotte Flair, Bayley, and Sasha Banks of the world, and this is also a major sticking point with fans. Instead of focusing on a couple of wrestlers, let the rest have a shot. Natalya’s basically been a jobber for months, but she’s finally getting to do something interesting.
There is so much talent in the women’s division that there’s no excuse to only focus on a few.
Sure, there are creative differences, but at some point things have to come together and the talent has to be allowed to perform or else fans will continue looking for entertainment elsewhere. We may not be there in person to boo or cheer, but we’re on social media letting our feelings be known.
