New NJPW Dojo Students
Oskar Münchow from Hamburg, Germany and Jake Taylor from Melbourne, Australia are the two newest members of the NJPW Dojo, both taking interesting paths to make it this far in their wrestling careers.
“After 11 months of training at Fale Dojo, I am so very happy and excited that I have achieved my goal of making it to the NJPW Dojo,” Münchow said to Lemalu. “It was not only my time Dojo that led to this. I’ve worked in Germany and also here in New Zealand a lot to fund all this,” he continued.
Lemalu detailed Taylor persevered through failing his Fale Dojo tryout in May of this year; however, he was successful in taking part in the June and September intakes which led him to this point. “I’ve been very working hard for six months here with my first goal, getting to the NJPW Dojo. I’m relieved I’m now going,” Taylor said to Lemalu.
Münchow towers at 6’6” while Taylor stands an inch below him at 6’5”. If both successfully progress through their Young Lion training they will join the 6’8” Hikuleo as tall and athletically built young big men. Both took to Twitter to express their excitement concerning their next career step.
