The following is a report on Pro Wrestling Noah’s third match of their first event on DDT Universe on January 30, 2020, following their acquisition by CyberAgent.
The third match of Pro Wrestling Noah’s (NOAH) Global Junior League Final had sentimental value for long time fans on the promotion. This was Quiet Storm’s farewell match with NOAH as he is moving on for the time being. Fittingly he teamed with long-term 50 Funky Powers tag team partner Mohammed Yone, who he is a 2x Global Honor Crown (GHC) Tag Team Champion with. Together they teamed against veterans Akitoshi Saito and Masao Inoue.
50 Funky Powers defeated their opponents in 11 minutes and 35 seconds in what was far from the best match of the night, but it had several entertaining moments from Yone and Storm who were able to show their unique charisma during the match.
While not the most exciting match it was a suitable sendoff for Quiet Storm who has been a regular with NOAH since 2014. According to Cagematch, the contest marked his 574th contest with the promotion. After the match, he posed with Yone and shook hands with Inoue and Saito.
NOAH fans took to Twitter to thank Quiet Storm for his time in the promotion.

It will be interesting to see what the future hold for Yone, who has been with NOAH since 2001. While nowhere near being a headline or marquee draw, Yone remains an important part of the NOAH roster.
