Nick Aldis has turned heel in the National Wrestling Alliance. This was bound to happen eventually, the guy doesn’t feel right as a babyface. He is also building a faction to back him up. The first few members are his manager Kamille, and the former NWA Tag Team Champions The Wildcards (Thomas Latimer and Royce Isaacs). With them alone, Nick Aldis has a lot more for his opponents to deal with. But that isn’t all that will be on their plates.
Holla If You Hear Me
Taping spoilers show that Nick Aldis is going to bring in Big Poppa Pump himself, Scott Steiner as part of this new faction. Scott Steiner is a man whose reputation is as the true wild card of professional wrestling. Give him a live mic, and you literally don’t know what will come out of his mouth. This makes him one of the most entertaining men in professional wrestling. He is a capable enough worker at this point but is better suited as someone to stand around, look like a sentient pile of muscles, and cut insane promos.
Thankfully NWA Powerrr is a taped show, so they can take care to cut anything that pushes the line from Scotts promos. He is sure to bring something entirely unique to both Nick Adlis’s faction and the NWA as a whole. Steiner is not a man easily controlled, so I feel this will backfire on Nick Aldis and we will somehow end up at Nick Aldis vs. Scott Steiner somewhere down the line.
Scott Steiner
Steiner is best known for his time in WCW, where he is a previous holder of the NWA Tag Team Championships with his brother Rick Steiner. He is also a former World Heavyweight Championship, having won it in the dying days of WCW. After that, he showed up in WWE, had some awful matches with Triple H, went to TNA, cut the famous Steiner Math promo amongst other things, and has just been bouncing around the wrestling world showing up wherever he damn well pleases. He is always a treat to watch, and I’m sure his time in NWA will be interesting to say the least.
