The Rock Forced To Cut Short His Honeymoon

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is the kind of person who is willing to do anything for his friends, even if that means he needs to cut his honeymoon short by a few days. As a matter of fact, that’s exactly what the former WWE champ did as he was forced to leave his new wife Lauren behind to fill in for Kevin Hart on a talk show appearance. Here’s what you need to know.

According to reports, The Rock will be on hand to fill in for Kevin Hart on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week. The producers found themselves in a jam after the actor got in a literal car jam that sent him to the hospital. The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor, 40, had three fractures to his spine in a Labor Day weekend car crash.

In addition to the actor and his friend Jared Black, Black’s fiancee, Rebecca Broxterman, was in the car, too. Black, who was not under the influence of alcohol, suffered major back injuries while Broxterman also complained of pain.

Hart was supposed to be on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week but because of his injuries The Rock will fill in for him. The Hollywood actor even commented about the ordeal on Twitter and wrote, “When my son @KevinHart4real goes down with an injury, his big daddy steps in. I did leave my honeymoon early (Lauren approved cos she LOVES Kelly) and now me and Kelly are new best friends. Tune in this Monday! We had the best time!”

Sadly, The Rock had to leave his new wife Lauren Hashian behind in Hawaii, which is where the couple tied the knot late last month. Seeing what kind of great guy The Rock is, we have a feeling that his is going to make it up to her somehow, too.
