WWE Survivor Series is nearing it’s last hour or so and the big matches just continue.
Our first 5-on-5-on-5 match opened the show and it as every bit as messy as I’m sure many expected. This one saw Rhea Ripley, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, Candice LaRae & Toni Storm of Team NXT defeat Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke, Carmella, Lacey Evans and Nikki Cross of Team SmackDown, and Team Raw’s Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Asuka, Kairi Sane & Sarah Logan.
Team SmackDown Wins Men’s 5-on-5-on-5 Survivor Series Match | WWE
It was wild as hell, and considering that, there was no reason the men’s version shouldn’t be any different. Team NXT, made up of Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Matt Riddle, Damian Priest & WALTER, went up against Raw and SmackDown and looked about equal. Their opponents were Roman Reigns, Shorty G, Mustafa Ali Braun Strowman and of course King Corbin on Team SmackDown. Team Raw was involved as well, featuring Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Ricochet, Kevin Owens & Drew McIntyre!
In the end, it was Team SmackDown who ended up prevailing. It’s a big win for them keeping them in the hunt, making the number 3-2-1, still with NXT having the edge but SmackDown can atleast tie. Raw is basically already beaten.
WWE Survivor Series 2019 is airing as we speak on the WWE Network. The show emanates from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer, and I will continue giving you a live play by play of the show as it happens. Stay with us!
