Let’s face it, Bobby Lashley is not Lana’s baby daddy.
This seems simple on the surface as the time frame that was leaked (and is hopefully accurate) leaves him out as a possibility.
Does that mean he won’t be part of the drama?
The best way to answer this is with this is Vince McMahon’s universe. He’ll do everything he can to manipulate our emotions to keep us coming back. With this in mind, it kinda opens the vault on what could happen.
How this could play out
Bobby Lashley has been portrayed as a selfish and manipulative heel, so it won’t stop here. He’ll most likely go after Rusev out of anger or Lana’s bidding. At least, until he gets his fill of her and moves on before she loses her womanly figure (Remember, he is a heel).
He could even turn face if Lana proves to be a master manipulator. He could become her second victim following her husband, Rusev, and that’d earn him some sympathy from the fans.
He hasn’t been a face for a while, so this is largely uncharted territory with a new roster. Plus, it’d open the door for him and Rusev to team up against a possible Lana stable later on.
How this will probably play out
This is based solely on speculation and Bobby Lashley being a heel, so take it with a grain of salt.
It is highly probably that Bobby Lashley will somehow have “planted Rusev’s seed” in Lana to drive a wedge between them. This would not only cement him further as the heel in this storyline, but it’d make Lana a victim as well. The question then becomes how long before she figures it out and turns on Lashley?
This way, Rusev not only reunites his family (including a new member), but he also gets to unleash as much hell as humanly possible on Bobby Lashley. This could lead to cage matches, Hell in a Cell, Lumberjack, or any other brutal match we can think of.
This would fit in perfectly with Bobby Lashley’s manipulative ways, especially given that he lied to Lana about Rusev cheating on her. Although, we’re only assuming he lied because of Rusev’s passionate plea.
While that would be a cool twist, it seems like a more difficult storyline than Vince McMahon is comfortable running. That doesn’t mean Bobby Lashley and Rusev swap sides or even join together, but it may be less likely than him sneaking into their house and implanting Rusev’s goodies in Lana.
But this is why we watch wrestling, right? Gotta find out what they’re going to throw at us next whether we like it or not. Does anyone really care that Bobby Lashley is not Lana’s baby daddy?
