t’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for the other half of our weekly YouTube wrestling goodness… although it looks like this one may be all by it’s lonesome for a little while. Tonight, we talk about AEW Dark! I’m the Overtimer’s Jordan Huie (mixing it up a little bit!) and I shall be giving you the play-by-play for the whole show! Let’s get to it!
We start with a recap of the Dynamite Diamond Ring match finish and the presentation from Diamond Dallas Page, where he ended up confronting Wardlow.
Tony Schiavone and Dasha Gonzalez introduce us and hype up what lies in the future for MJF and Wardlow before giving us a rundown of tonight’s card. They mentioned how the guest broadcaster this week was supposed to be Shanna, but Nyla Rose took her out. She’ll be on comm with Excalibur this week instead.
Brandon Cutler out with a dramatic new entrance coat.
Jimmy Havoc vs. Brandon Cutler
Cutler with a waistlock, Havoc escapes with a wrist lock. Snapmare, cover for a quick two and Havoc keeps control. Takedown, presses the boot against his face. Cutler reverses the arm wringer for a takedown. Hammerlock, Havoc with a snapmare to counter, Cutler with a sunset flip but Havoc rolls through, Jacknife cover, Cutler bridges out and wants to wrestle him into a backslide, but Havoc bites the elbow to stop that! Chain wrestling continues for a moment until Havoc wracks him with a right hand. Chop to the chest. Whip to the corner, Cutler with a floatover. Havoc flips him off, misses a clothesline, Cutler with a WWE Headkick, springing enziguri. Running forearm smash. Cutler clotheslines him to the floor. Hits the ropes, but Havoc pulls out the staple gun to force him to stop in his tracks!
Havoc slips into the ring as the crowd chants “We want staples”. Ref takes the staple gun away, Havoc with a low blow to Cutler! Rakes the eyes, takes him outside and throws him into a barrier. Bites the ear. Cutler reverses a whip taking him into the barrier. Havoc demands more and Cutler gives him a few shots, takes him against the post, Havoc ducks and he chops the post. Havoc takes him against the post, teases a chop and Cutler ducks as well, Havoc with a big shot to the back. Cutler rolls into the ring, gets the boot up off a charge, but Havoc counters an arm drag, arm drags him into the corner. Snap suplex into the buckles follows, cover for 2! Acid Rainmaker attempt, Cutler stops him with a combo of kicks. Kneedrop. Wants the TPK but Havoc again just bites the arm to counter, chinlock. Cutler with a pretty crazy Black Hole Slam variation, nearfall!
Havoc with a double footstomp out of the corner. Jimmy stands on the middle rope, wants to suplex him to the floor. Cutler escapes, trips him to where he’s hung up on the ropes. Springboard Legdrop takes him onto the apron! Springboard Elbow Drop for a nearfall! Cutler pulls him up, Havoc with a big right hand, Acid Rainmaker gets the win!
Winner: Jimmy Havoc
After the match, Jimmy staples a check for $10,000 to his forehead!
Backstage, Cutler and an agent is chiding Jimmy for his stapling. Havoc says he does what he wants, if he wants to use a staple gun, he will! Staples another check to the wall, says that’s for when he does it next time. Warns Cutler to stay away.

Replay of Cody’s squash victory on Dark, followed by the Butcher and the Blade’s sneak attack.
Shawn Spears vs. Sonny Kiss
Lock-up, into the corner, Spears with the clean break. Spears with an arm wringer takedown, Sonny rolls through to his feet. Rolls again, kips up, back flip and just waves at Spears. Shawn wants a clothesline, ducked, Sonny dodges a punch with the splits. Sonny avoids a kick, roll-up for 1, and now just twerking in his face! Spears with a back elbow, chop to the chest. Throws Sonny to the ropes, back elbow. Spears mocks Sonny with a flex of his glutes. Crowd gives it a ten! He flips them off. Spears gets a boot up, but Sonny hangs his legs up on the second rope! Runs for the flipping legdrop, nearfall! Nice move.
Sonny slips to the apron, roundhouse kick to the head. Springboards in but Spears shoves Sonny to the floor! Spears gets aggressive, drives Sonny backfirst into the apron twice, before nailing a back suplex onto the apron! Drags him into the ring, stomps him down. Sonny struggles up, Spears hoists him onto his shoulders for a Running DVD, that is that.
Winner: Shawn Spears
Spears afterwards tosses Kiss to the floor. Tully up on the steps, he hops off – Spike Piledriver!
Afterwards Tony suggests officials should look into that, no reason for such a brutal post-match attack after he already got the win, Dasha agrees, doesn’t see why you would do this.
Commercial for A Little Bit Of The Bubbly, which I’m fairly certain was already more than sold out before this even aired!
Into the Control Center with Tony and Dasha now giving us a run down of what’s in tap for AEW Dynamite tomorrow, which I’ll be giving a deep dive into, of course~ We also see a replay of what went down with Dustin Rhodes, vowing vengeance on Jake Hager, only to get jumped by Sammy G, Santana & Ortiz until the Young Bucks make the save!
Replay of Trent pinning Fenix last week, backstage Lucha Bros claim again to be the best tag team in the universe but Christopher Daniels jumps Penta! Pull-apart brawl ensues!
We then see a promo from Jon Moxley, same one that aired last week that amounted to another open challenge.

They show a video of the Jurassic Express which was first uploaded to their YouTube channel last week. It basically gives a depiction of how Jungleboy, Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt met.
Proud-N-Powerful vs. Jurassic Express
Jungleboy and Santana start us off. Santana with a hammerlock and throws him off. Santana with a lock-up, takes him to the corner, no clean break as he rakes the chest. Lock-up, Santana with a waistlock takedown, Jungleboy reverses with a wristlock. Santana rolls through, takes him to the ropes, chant of “Marko’s gonna kill you”. Arm drag, Jungleboy handsprings over him, step-up hurricanrana. Santana rolls through over a low dropkick, poses, turns right into a big standing dropkick! Tag to Marko, dashes in for a spear in the corner! Jungleboy hoists Marko onto his shoulders, assisted spear! Ortiz tags in, Jungleboy with an Inverted Atomic Drop, Marko with a running enziguri, Jungleboy with a double footstomp to the back of the head, cannonball senton from Marko for a 2 count!
Marko with rapid fire elbows. Singles out an arm, tag to Jungle boy who comes off with a foot stomp, Marko tags in and does the same, Jungleboy throws him into a dropkick in the corner. Ortiz dodges Jungleboy in the corner, rolls through on Marko, setting up a German Suplex/Dropkick combo with both of them! Ortiz whips off the gloves, digs the nails in Marko’s back with a rake. Deadlift Back Suplex! Tag to Santana, kick to the face. Very showy back suplex, flexes for the crowd. Puts a foot on his chest for a 2 count. Delayed Vertical Suplex begins! Aaaaand he carries him over to Ortiz, tags him in, hands him off to his partner! Ortiz holds him up for a bit, tag back to Santana! Aaaand right back! One more tag to Santana! MARKO OUT OF NOWHERE COUNTERS WITH AN INSIDE CRADLE FOR 2! But then Santana with a vertical suplex, rolls through for a second one, “Eddie” chant as he hoists him up for a third… with a delay… tag to Ortiz – Santana with a cheap shot to Jungleboy as Ortiz slams him down with a Falcon Arrow.
Ortiz takes Marko to the outside, Santana is already pounding on Jungleboy out there. They whip them into each other, Jurassic Express hook arms and dash back, but P-N-P catch them and drive them into each other. Santana body slams Jungleboy onto the ramp, then slams Marko on top of him, whilst Ortiz rolls back in to break up the count. Santana and Ortiz grab two steels chairs now, sitting them up. They sit Jungleboy and Marko against them, stun them with chops. Santana leaps off the back of Ortiz for a cannonball senton! Ortiz takes Marko into the ring, locks him in a Boston Crab! Marko escapes, ducks a clothesline, tag to Jungleboy who is a house of fire! Takes Santana off the apron, driving forearm to Ortiz in the corner, hits the ropes, big leaping lariat! Jungleboy up top, Santana grabs the leg. Jungleboy kicks him away, crossbody to Ortiz for a 2 count! Jungleboy taken to the ropes, Santana grabs him by the ankle, Ortiz with a roll-through uppercut!
Jungleboy deposits both to the outside, but Santana with a shoulder thrust, float-over sunset flip flip! Jungleboy holds on, but Ortiz with an additional sunset flip?! Never seen that before, this leaves Jungleboy into a prawn hold but Marko off the top with a Double Footstomp to break it up! Marko springs off the back of Jungleboy for a Tornado DDT to Ortiz! Ripcord Legdrop for a nearfall. Marko tags in, they throw him to the corner, Santana takes him to the apron, knocks Jungleboy away, goes up top but Marko with a leaping roundhouse kick. Jungleboy hoists Santana onto his shoulders, Marko off the top with a flip cutter for a nearfall! Marko up top again, Ortiz takes Jungleboy to the floor and throws him into the barrier. Marko nonetheless tries for a Dragonrana, but Santana catches him – destructive Inverted Powerbomb! Liger Bomb from Ortiz, running big boot from Santana, Ortiz keeps Jungleboy down as Santana covers him for the finish!
Winners: Proud-N-Powerful
No upset, but really good stuff! Very heel-heavy episode of AEW Dark there.
Afterwards Sammy Guevara makes his way out with the live vlogging. He catches them on his phone as all three of them gang assault Marko and Jungleboy! Crowd chants for “Luchasaurus”… and he indeed makes his way out! Sammy goes out to meet him, chokeslam attempt, Sammy flips out of it, Luchasaurus kicks his arm away, roundhouse kick! Santana charges as Luchasaurus catches him with a thrust kick from the apron! Goes inside, knee lift to Ortiz, push kick… Santana and Ortiz double team Luchasaurus, but a Tail Whip takes out Santana, Roundhouse Kick to Guevara, chokeslam to Ortiz followed by a standing moonsault! He has laid out 3/5ths of the Inner Circle by himself!
But now… out comes Jake Hager! Once again they’re coming eye-to-eye! Luchasaurus dares him to enter the ring. Hager indeed comes in… shoves Luchasaurus away! Hager with a clothesline – but Luchasaurus stays standing! Roundhouse kick also fails to fall Hager! They trade huge shots but neither goes down! Luchasaurus ducks a clothesline, wants a chokeslam! Hager is fighting it with all his might – until Santana, Ortiz and Sammy Guevara gang on him! Young Bucks rush down, double superkick puts a stop to the assault, running P-N-P out of the ring! (Hager already left.) Luchasaurus plants Sammy, double superkick for him as well! Luchasaurus and Jungleboy swing Marko a couple of times… into a huge flying Canadian Destroyer! Awesome, big pop!
