The WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2019 Kickoff Show is in progress as we speak. I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer, here to give you the live results and coverage of the show as it is on-going. We just now witnessed the end of the match between Humberto Carrillo and Andrade, the first bout at WWE TLC.
This bout is of course a rematch from last week’s Raw, in which Humberto and Andrade got into an argument in Spanish that was largely unexplained in English, but judging from twitter seems to stem from Andrade calling himself the face of Mexico. Humberto got the victory, becoming the first man to beat Andrade since his move to Monday Night Raw, put over as a big upset and a major victory for Humberto. It was also the start of some dissension between Andrade and his manager, Zelina Vega.
So a rematch between the two was made for the WWE TLC kickoff show.

“This is Awesome” chant, don’t hear them on the pre-show much. Andrade wants a suplex, Humberto lands on his feet, enziguri missed, back body drop met with a kick, Andrade with a big lariat! Andrade has a cut on his eye. Seems to be swelling already! Andrade with the boot up off a charge, goes up top, Humberto with a WWE Headkick to stop him! Pursues… Andrade knocks him to the canvas, but Humberto with a Springboard Enziguri takes him to the canvas! Humberto pulls him up, back body drop sends Humberto spinefirst into the buckles! Andrade nails the Meteora! Pulls him in, cover for a nearfall! Hammerlock DDT, Humberto escapes, throws him to the ropes where Zelina is standing, stops himelf, Andrade charges and Humberto evades, Humberto wants a roll-up but Andrade reverses it for a nearfall! Andrade goes up top… Humberto pursues… SUPER POISON RANA?!?!?! Humberto back up top, gorgeous moonsault and that is that!
Winner: Humberto Carrillo
Indeed, Humberto got the victory in what may have been the Kickoff Show MOTY. These two may well have stolen this show already, some truly awesome stuff! Hopefully Andrade’s eye is okay, dude looked like he just lost a boxing match.
Afterwards, Andrade and Zelina bickered again and Andrade left without her.
