CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers have had some fun developments lately, but few have been as entertaining as Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) squaring off for supremacy and ownership of the Forrester name.
Preludes to war
Usually these types of things are slow burns. They take some time to build, and often the buildup is steady before we witness the “light the fuse” button.
While this storyline feels like it’s moving at a good pace, it seems like we’ve entered the “light the fuse” phase faster than we should’ve. Maybe it’s because of missing so many shows due to preemptions that it feels sped up, or maybe it’s really not taking long for Brooke and Quinn to face off.
Or it could simply be each episode is half an hour so they go by a lot faster. It’ makes sense and they’d have to put more emphasis on driving the storylines forward with half the time other shows are allotted.

As far as CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers go, they’re doing an awesome job of it and this is going to be a fun one to watch going forward. And now that Brooke has kindly lit that fuse, the countdown can begin for the climactic explosion between two of the more driven women on the show.
Of course, Brooke is the one that lit the fuse as she’s on a crusade (Brooke’s words). Even with her being the focal point of the situation, it’s fun to see their different tactics.
While Brooke may have support given Quinn’s past, she’s been super aggressive in going straight to Quinn’s husband, Eric Forrester (John McCook) and trying to convince him that Quinn is evil and was behind Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) going after Ridge.
What’s interesting is, she’s so intense and eager to push this that she’s coming across as unhinged and it could be why she loses the war she’s starting.
On the flip side, Quinn is the typical bereaved wife that is fighting for her marriage against a potential saboteur. Instead of the aggressive approach, Quinn approached Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke’s estranged husband about reigning Brooke in.
Neither really had the effect they had hoped for, but so far Quinn is in the driver’s seat.
Once a bitch, always a bitch
Brooke’s words about Quinn, as well as challenging her to let the manipulative part of her out for all to see may have backfired as Quinn slipped some alcohol in Brooke’s juice.
Of course, this opening salvo could be just the thing Brooke needed and wanted, though it could come at a cost.
The problem here is all Brooke needs is to ingest enough to get into an accident, which could cause everyone to think she’s been drinking and undermine her efforts.
This is setting us up for an interesting showdown heading into next week, but it’s also relying on Brooke being dumb enough (she probably will) to not expect Quinn to do something to her drink or notice a change in taste.
These are some excellent questions and concerns we’ll have to wait until next week to see answer to, but CBS The Bold and the Beautiful will be here every step of the way, so don’t hesitate to stop by or drop us a line. Things are going to get interesting and fast. We just have to remember some drinks and snacks to help keep us from leaving the show at the wrong time.
