Ladies and gentlemen it is that time of the week again, everyone’s favorite day, good ‘ol Monday… and with it comes another edition of Monday Night Raw! Tonight we have a triple threat tag team match to look forward to, as the OC continues going after the Viking Raiders’ tag team titles, but now with the Street Profits in the mix once more! I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer, here to give you the 411 on what to look forward to tonight, so let’s get into it!
WWE Raw Tag Team Championships: The Viking Raiders (c) vs. Street Profits vs. The OC
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows – with AJ Styles always in tow – have been fervently pursuing the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships of late, claiming their right to the shot by virtue of being deemed the best tag team in the world back at Crown Jewel, as well as their defeats over the title-holding Viking Raiders in the past. But the Street Profits, who made their initial debut on Raw by defeating the OC, took exception and challenged them to another match last week. And once again, they picked up the win, adding themselves to contention.
So now Erik and Ivar have to contend with both teams here in this triple threat match. The Viking Raiders have been pushed pretty hard for a while but it seems like they’re only just recently starting to connect with people. And that’s coming at a bad time because now is the point where they’re entering the 50/50 abyss that everyone eventually falls to. The OC have meanwhile been made out to be a significant part of Raw for pretty much the entirety of 2019, albeit usually as the big team to lose in main events. But odds are good Gallows and Anderson will reclaim those titles eventually and I think tonight might be the night. I’m picking the OC to win, though possibly without pinning either of the champions.
