Hello and welcome to CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers, where we bring you the latest news, updates, and theories about what’s going on with our favorite shows and characters.
As many of us know, Thomas Forrester (Mathew Atkinson) is full of surprises, and not all of them pleasant. That may be changing in the coming days as he appears to show a softer side of himself. Okay, that may be an exaggeration since his soft side is usually only seen when he wants something, but it sounded good, right?
The thing is, he’s stuck at a in a place where he wants to torment Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) some more. He’s going all in on the “make her jealous” angle by planning a surprise party for Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes).
Seems simple and straightforward, right? What could possibly go wrong? It’s not like his schemes have a habit of blowing up in his face and causing more harm than not to those around him, right?

Maybe, just maybe this time will be different?
When it comes to Thomas, anything is possible, and CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers is right here with the, well, spoilers.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Mathew Atkinson, who plays Thomas, said, “In this situation, he’s finding another way to get at Hope.”
Sigh. Of course.
“He has been pining after Hope for so long and now, Thomas is ramping that up by throwing this huge party and then giving all this affection to Zoe. I don’t think any of it is really that genuine. He’s doing it for the purpose of getting a reaction.”
Now, our question is what kind of reaction does he expect? For Hope to run at him, wrapping her arms around him and never letting go? Maybe he expects her to knock Zoe out? Poor thing, and poor Zoe.
Collateral damage
On the plus side, he’s partially successful as he’ll get a rise out of Hope and, unfortunately, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Hasn’t the poor kid been through enough?
Mathew continued by saying that, “Douglas feels like Thomas felt when he was a child, like he’s losing one of his parents. That’s the whole point of this. Sadly, he’s using Douglas again to achieve those goals. Obviously, his eyes are still 100 percent focused on Hope.”
Okay, so he’s focused and nothing is going to get in his way. But what’s that say about someone willing to hurt their child to get what they want? It should be interesting to see how this plays out between the two. Henry Joseph Samiri has done an excellent job as his character has gone through a lot, thanks to his loving, caring father.
But wait, there’s more. (Isn’t there always?) There’s the question of Thomas’ feeling for Zoe, who’s the lynchpin in his latest brilliant maneuver to prove he’s selfish and conceited.
“He doesn’t have genuine, real intentions of romance, but he’s enjoying spending time with her. “He’s not out to hurt her. It’s more about enjoying the moment: ‘Let’s have some fun. Why do we have to put labels on things?’ It’s not that big a deal to Thomas.”
And it won’t be until his plan goes wonky and he’s left dealing with two women that are in love or hate him. Oh, this is going to be a glorious storyline to watch unfold, and we at CBS The Bold and the Beautiful will be there every step of the way.
