50 years for Newman Enterprises, 40 years for Eric Braeden
Alrighty, the moment we’ve been waiting for is finally upon us. Victor Newman (Eric Braedon)’s 50 year anniversary gala is up and running and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in in her splendor.
The Newman Gala is expected to be something we don’t want to miss as it’s serving dual purposes. Storyline-wise, it’s celebrating Newman Enterprise’s 50 years and Victor’s success building the company. But it’s also celebrating Eric Braeden’s 40 years with the show as Victor, and we’re in for one heckuva shindig.
Spoilers have been everywhere saying old and new faces will make an appearance for the gala, so we can expect to see some of our favorites as well as not-so favorites. Anyone that may have crossed paths with Victor and can make it is expected, but we’ll have to wait to see who all’s going to be there.
Until then, let’s all enjoy watching old memories grace our screens again. Perhaps, for the final time.
Chelsea blackmailed
What would a CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers be without some dirt being tossed around here and there?
As we’ve grown accustomed to lately, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) refuses to keep out of something no matter how many times she’s warned, and this time she dug up something she would’ve probably been better off leaving along.
Not that she’d be worried about something like that.
After spending some time tormenting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), she turned her sights on the woman she could injure.
At this point, it’s bad enough she found a way to eavesdrop on Adam and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz)’s conversation in Vegas, but now she’s going after a secondary member. Playing on Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s love for Adam, it’s believed that Phyllis blackmailed her into selling her shares of the Grand Phoenix to Phyllis to keep Adam out of prison.
This has bad and stupid written all over it.
Not only is she going to make a bigger enemy out of Adam, but also Chance, who Adam did this to help out.
There’s a dark side to Chance we haven’t seen yet, and this could bring it out in ways that are unhealthy for Phyllis, but entertaining for us.
How he’ll find out is another spoiler where his current girlfriend, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), is reported to figure our Chelsea was blackmailed. Of course, this is another Newman Phyllis is going to have to deal with, so payment will be due at some point.
