WWE Monday Night Raw continues following Bobby Lashley’s squashing of R-Truth. Now, we have Jerry Lawler moderating the contract signing for the Raw Women’s Elimination Chamber match, so yes, a contract signing with six women. Shayna Baszler blatantly just isn’t here but Lawler ignores this as he introduces the signing. Asuka takes the mic from him and counts in Japanese. There’s only five of them there, it turns out! Shayna Baszler is not out here. She tosses the mic at Lawler.
Jerry says that she’s right, it is customary to have everyone involved in this contract signing. His understanding was that Baszler was in the arena, maybe she’s running late or perhaps she’s just a no-show. There’s some boos as he says that nevertheless, let’s get this started. Sarah Logan signs. Jerry points out Nattie’s Canadian origins to get a cheap pop before she also signs. Liv Morgan gets a decent pop too and she’s quick to sign. She stands up and takes it upon herself to hand the contact over to Ruby Riott and slam the pen down for her to sign. Ruby signs it and stands to come eye to eye with her. Lawler reminds us that we have two referees here to help keep everything under control. Asuka signs the contract…
…Just as Shayna Baszler’s theme hits.
They wait for her to come out on the stage but instead, out she comes from the crowd. She goes ahead and signs the contract before, for some reason, getting into Natalya’s face. Nattie stands up and goes around the table to stand eye-to-eye with Shayna. Asuka takes exception, comes up and shoves Natalya to the mat to stare at Shayna instead. Asuka yells at her and demands, “Bite me!” with a gleeful smile. Nattie jumps Asuka however, and Liv Morgan goes after Ruby Riott, a brawl between much of the field starts. Eventually, Baszler finds herself alone in the ring and seems pleased with herself.
But now, out comes Becky Lynch. Once again she has her Just Deal With It sunglasses but tosses them aside quickly before rushing down the ramp. She double legs Baszler and rains down punches! Baszler shoves her off, big spinebuster and she’s got the mount until officials spills out to break them up! There’s the customary “Let Them Fight” and it’s a pretty loud one too! They’re still pulling them apart as we fade to commercial.
