While rumors of talks between Killer Kross and WWE have persisted for months, we finally have confirmation on this. The Impact Wrestling star was confirmed to have signed a deal with WWE on WWE Backstage. What does the future hold for him?
Joining His Girlfriend In NXT
Killer Kross’s girlfriend, best known as Scarlett Bordeaux signed with WWE around mid 2019, part of the NXT brand. She has yet to appear on TV, but has been making waves from her live event appearances.
Her debut could have been delayed due to talks with Killet Kross, and with him arriving we could see their debut coming very soon. NXT TV is stacked with talent, so it will be a sink or swim situation for them. Considered how long talks went on for Killer Kross, it is possible he jumps the line.
Killer Kross To Go Right To RAW or Smackdown?
With how hyped his signing has been, its clear someone backstage really wanted Kross on the roster. This could lead to him breaking tradition. Normally new signings start in NXT so they can ensure they are fully ready for primetime TV. A few exceptions in the past include Mike Kannelis, AJ Styles, & Karl Anderson. Kannelis was a flop, but Styles & Anderson have been stars from the start.
While it is likelty Kross will go to the Perfomance Center briefly to be assesed, he could go either way. His character work was second to none in Impact Wrestling and on his YouTube channel, and his imposing size makes him the kind of person who has all the skills to succeed. His in ring ability is incredibly solid, and he’s shown a great power game along with surprising agility. He isn’t as deceptive as someone like Keith Lee, but he’s sure to surprise some when he busts out an easy springboard moonsault after slamming opponents down.
