CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers here with a question we’ve all asked at one point or another: is it possible for writers to make their characters so slow on the uptake one would wonder how they remember to breathe?
It’s amazing how so many know better, but are still snowed under with the least bit of effort. When it comes to a “hold my beer” moment, B&B has really taken first place with Thomas Forrester (Mathew Atkinson)’s current angle. He’s really bringing out the worst sides in people, and it’s almost laughable how inept they are.
A week or so ago, he showed Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to be as inept as a newborn puppy when it came to threats. Liam’s howls of protest were so pathetic and whiny no one gave him more than a second glance.

And now, with Thomas’ plan to torment his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), until Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) breaks and marries him shifting into high gear, we almost want Rat Face (Thomas’ new name. Like he doesn’t look the part, right?) to win just because so many as so horrible at pointing out his atrocities.
Tomorrow looks like another banner moment, except this time someone will overhear him and their trust in him will be shattered. About time someone woke up. Oh, did we mention that person is Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)? Yep, imagine that.
How can Steffy expect anything but deceit from Thomas?
It’s understandable that family members would try to expect their siblings, children, or parents have turned the corner. It’s natural to hope things work out.
But when said person helped her to break Liam and Hope up by setting up “the kiss” how could she expect anything else?
Seriously, this is beyond stupid, but is it any surprise? When the writers need or want to end an arc it’s easy to help their characters lose a few hundred IQ points.
Still, knowing what Thomas recently did for her as well as his past, her faith in him will be shattered when she hears his plans, but will it make a difference? Maybe, maybe not.
It depends on if she decides bursting in on the discussion is the best course, or she remains out of it. What’ll really shape her opinion could be the other person’s argument, so CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers believes it’ll probably be Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero). Out of he and Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), he’s been the most vocal at trying to talk Thomas out of his plan. It makes sense he’d be the reason Steffy hears anything.
And if it’s Quinn, well, it’ll give Steffy another choice to make in that she could remain quiet or tell Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Long), which will give her much needed ammunition in her war against Quinn and convincing Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that Thomas is a special kind of psychotic.
Speaking of Liam and Hope…
Hope has been struggling with a lot lately, between Douglas’ near constant whining and Thomas constantly winding him up by saying the wrong things. We can expect him announcing wanting to have his and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes)’s wedding that day would push both of them over the edge and possibly lead to another fight.
Though Hope may show she’s a faster learned than Steffy and go to someone for help.
Considering that help is whipped puppy Liam kinda makes us want to take that compliment back.
On the plus side, Liam is one of the kindest, warmest, and most loyal people around. He’ll fight for anyone he believes in.
But ignoring the fact he’s as threatening as a cloudy day, he has good intentions. However, it’s likely he’ll take the lecturing, pissed off tone and angle if Hope tells him what’s going on.
Will he be of any help? Doubtful, but he does love Hope so maybe this will bring them together.
While the next few days may have us wondering where the future of these families are going, CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers will be right in the thick of it with updates, spoilers, and speculations as they become available.
